Goofy Movie - Gold Colletion
Tron, Toy Story 2, George of The Jungle 2 - George of The Jungle 2 is Barebons, Tron is 2 Disc 20th Anniversary Collectors Edition, Toy Story 2 is the Woodys Roundup Edition.
The Rescuers Down Under - Gold Collection
Aladdin Return of Jafar/ Aladdin King of Thieves - 2 Pack Value Pack

Other than that I bought the following two weeks after they came out on dvd:

Ducktales Vol 1 and 2
Chip'n'Dale Rescue Rangers Vol. 1 and 2
Talespin Vol 1
Darkwing Duck Vol 1
Adventures of The Gummi Bears Vol. 1

So thats it for dvds until Christmas and Boxing Day

I wish we had a Boxing Day in the U.S. (my friend moved here from Canada, and he told me about it, but I guess it's Canada's equivalent to our Black Friday, right?). If we did, I would be buying Disney DVDs left and right! You would NEVER be able to get me outta the store!

Actually I"m not sure if it's the equivalent of Black Friday, I suck at holidays, the only ones I know are Halloween and Christmas I always ask my Mom's side of the family for Gift Cards to any store that carry's movies that way I can splurge on any dvds I didn't get for Christmas.

Man, am I the only one who started with the Limited Issue DVDs?

It's not really like Black Friday, most stores in the UK do have sales starting on boxing day to get rid of all their old stuff they didn't manage to shift as Xmas Presents, but it's not on the same scale as BF.

Meh. I still want a boxing day real bad!

Im pretty sure it was Beauty and the Beast... then i was obsessed ever since. not so much anymore as iv been alittle disapointed with the new dvd's but I have all the 2 discers that are out.

My first DVD was Finding Nemo. I bought it in January of 2004, before I started high school. The next one I bought was Walt Disney Treasures-Silly Symphonies, and the one after that was The Santa Clause 2.

Mary Poppins, 40th anniversary editon. It was a Chrismtas gift.

One day I was at the local retailer's and I noticed Disney had released Robin Hood, Peter Pan and The Rescuers on DVD. They were having a "Buy 3, Pay 2"-special at that time, so that's when it all started.

My collection is not very big, but I must say that TLM LI started all (just because I'm a Mermaid freak). Suddenly, all my interest on Disney went away and it was until the release of Sleeping Beauty SE (my second fave Disney movie) that I decided to collect Disney DVD's. Now I truly regret on not buying Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and many more titles that are OOP now.

The original "A Bug's Life" CE, the first Disney 2-disc set. It was the first time I felt there was a reason to upgrade a VHS to DVD. After that came the single disc of Tarzan, which was the first Disney film simultaneously released to DVD and VHS at the same time. The 2-disc set didn't come out until 6-months later and I upgraded when that set went out of print. I began collecting all of the Gold Collections with the intention of upgrading all the Disney animated films to DVD and today, I am proud to say I have all of the WDFA films on DVD.

The DVD that started my collection was DuckTales Volume 1. Though it was disappointing because it didn't have the five part pilot "Treasure of the Golden Suns" and some of the episodes though enjoyable were just average I still reccommend it because even if its far from perfect it's still the only official Ducktales Volume 1!!! Then I bought TaleSpin Volume 1 and Darkwing Duck Volume 1. The most ecently added box set to my collection is DuckTales Volume 2!!!

I currently don't own any other Disney DVDs but I'd liek to ahve The Santa Clause and The Santa Clause 2. I also thought of One Magic Christmas, The Watcher in the Woods, and both Pirates of the Carribbean movies!!!

I was already collecting the animated classics on VHS ( don't remember which one started it, but I started about 1998/1999 when my son was 2-3 years old ).

When Disney DVDs reached Portugal, I started upgrading, so my first were Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland and The Sword In The Stone. I then purchased the Limited Issues, and have been buying them when they became available. I actually have two copies of Lady and The Tramp ( LI was fullscreen), Atlantis ( fullscreen edition came first, but later I bought the widescreen in a pack with Atlantis II ) and Mary Poppins ( I had the UK flipper but later I bought an edition with portugues dubbing for the kids ).

Recently I purchased Make Mine Music from Denmark ( had refused to buy the R1 edition without The Martins and The Coys ), so now I finally have all classics on DVD ( besides other animated movies, DTV sequels, Pixar films, and so on ... )

I am pretty sure it was Beauty and the Beast. Around the time it came out I was all into Disney cartoons and the like and I figure since the age of DVDs have begun I might as well get with the times with movies I enjoy watching. And of course, The Lion King was gonna come out the following year and there was no way I was gonna miss out on that!

I became obsessed with only getting the Disney animated films in 2-disc special editions. I didnt get Snow White or Sleeping Beauty knowing that they would later be adapted into PEs that will match the rest of my collection. That and the VHS I still have of certain films were still in good condition. Certain films such as Lady and the Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Lion King were waaay worn out VHS's now buried in my family basement. My VHS copy of Cinderella was borrowed by someone years ago and they never gave it back so I had to get a DVD of that of course.

Other Disney films I will add to the collection if they are special editions with all the fixings. I remember my Mulan VHS got worned out too sooner than normal so I was psyched about the 2disc set.

I really have no idea.

I started getting them in late 2000 and have collected Disney Treasures since the first wave.

I don't know how many 100s of Disney titles I own now, and don't want to know because then my wife would have something concrete to use against me

Haven't bought much new lately though. Have all the Limited Edition and Gold Collection and haven't seen a lot of reason to upgrade Fox and the Hound, Robin Hood etc.

Dumbo: 60th Anniversary (in 2002)

When I was little my mom had bought some of the Disney movies on VHS like Beauty and the Beast, (taped) Cinderella, Aladdain #1 and 2, Lion King, Santa Claus #1 and #2 and some others. But what started my dvd collection was either Lady and the Tramp, Lady and the Tramp #2, Bambi, or Bambi #2. I think I bought them at the same time. Then I bought Cinderella and the Little Mermaid. I still want to buy Dumbo and all the others out there. I can't wait until the Peter Pan one.
