It's actually 30, not 35, unless you want to count taxes and up it to 33, but I agree that it should be 15 tops. Still, even the non-replica one is 19.99. That's just the way toys are these days it seems, sadly. But I had to get it if only because there is no huge Toy Story logo on it to ruin the fake nostalgic charm or replica quality, ha.

Wait...when I call the Disney store, what do I say? Do they just order it from their warehouse and ship it to the store for pickup by the customer or what?
EDIT: Nevermind, I saw the addendum to the post. Thanks Tyler.

Its from their store, and most offer shipping from that store, not a warehouse etc. Thats why I providied the list. If a store is 2-3 hours from you, call that number, ask about the Hamm, and the shipping. Chances are it's in stock and they offer shipping.
Just let them know its the larger actual bank, for $19.50 with the actual cork, Toy Story 3, label around its neck held on by elastic.

Someone on Pixar planet modified their Mr potatohead's legs. looks great.
He says the ectronics still work this way too. though the body is just sitting on the shoes now, once the legs are shorted and re attatched it should still work as it should.

That Potato Head looks awesome! But I don't dare cut mine up and risk botching the job after paying 50 bucks for him! Argh! Why didn't they just make him right?!
By the way, anyone know yet what the Hamm bank is made of?

I, er- felt him a few days ago and Hamm was for sure not plastic and he was heavy too even though he has a hollow inside. Sorry, I don't know my material! Just plastic, paper, wood and metal.

Would you say he is breakable? I'm wondering, plastic or ceramic? Surely he's one or the other.

you cant really botch this, its as simple as unscrewing them. at least if you just want to set the body on top of the shoes as shown. I guess you could screw up shortening the legs themselves, but even that seems pretty hard.
The way I see it, you paid 50 bucks, you deserve it to look as good as you can get it. sure it'd be nice if you didn't have to be the one to fix it, but if you don't do it, no one will.
Its not even like you have to do any soldering or something thats actually more risky.

Yes! It did feel like he would break if I dropped him. Surely that's a good thing?

Not if you break him, ha. Actually, it depends on if he is supposed to be breakable. I always thought he a ceramic/porcelain bank myself, but back when we first discussed that here, everyone else said he is supposed to be plastic...

Well, how do you recommend shortening and reattaching the legs? I'm interested in knowing this botch-proof procedure, as what I might try may not be the best way to go.

I took a pic in store since I dont have the $ yet for him, and you can partially see the promotional sign I was talking about.
And like others have stated, the Mr. P were indeed in the "Little kid" area (playskool, etc)

Well, I don't have him yet, was just going on a description. When I manage to find one I'll give you the run down on how to do it.
But from what I understand, not only is it hard to screw up, its also reversable.

Judging by eyes, Im gonna assume that's the low-end model.

It's clearly the TSC MRP. I dont understand the "assumption".
