Last night's episode was awesome.

I think Gabrielle had the funniest story of the night. I especially loved the "Hey you, blackmailer!" scene. Great television.

I'm actually feeling sorry for Susan, though I usually can't stand her. Her story wasn't half bad either. The whole cake scene cracked me up.

Lynette's story is pissing me off. I love her character, but she's being very selfish. Tom is the one who started the whole restaurant ordeal and she keeps going against his wishes just because she knows he's defenseless in his current condition. I'm looking forward to a quick resolution.

I dunno. Tom just really rubs me the wrong way so I can't help but support Lynette's decisions (especially since she's proven herself the right one with all the critics now praising the restaurant). As for Susan, I just feel so bad for her. She's really trying to do what's right and both of 'em just aren't making it any easier on her.

So, quick question: Am I the only one that finds McClusky's little "secret" completely out of character?

Well, I think that judgement can take place after we learn her motives. Until then, it does seem really out there for her, but I'll reserve my thoughts until we learn why.

However, that shot of her in jail did seem out of place.

She looked so sad and pitiful there...I felt bad for her. I hope her motives weren't too warped.

My friend when I expressed these same feelings: "There is never a good reason for a body in a freezer. Im sorry. There just isn't."

LOFL! Edie is already on a roll tonight!

Edie to Gabby, after Gabby compares Edie dating Carlos, to Gabby giving a dress away to charity, then seeing Edie wearing it: "Well, if you gave it away in the first place, then what the hell are you bitchin' about?"

Edie to Gabby, after Gabby threatened Edie for sleeping with Carlos: "You are as tall as my legs! What are you going to do?"

I love this show!!!

Oh, my goodness, this episode has only been on for 20 minutes, and I'm already busting at the seams with laughter!

That scene with Susan in the parking lot, when the guy steals her parking spot, is an absolute classic! That's exactly what I would have done, if I had the guts to do it! So great!!!

EDIT to add my thoughts on the rest of the episode:

AMAZING episode. Desperate Housewives has been awesome this season, and it just keeps getting better. This episode was hilarious, but, had touching moments along the way.

The scene with Lynette and Susan, trying to hide from Gabby at the Birthday party that Edie threw for Travers, was so freaking funny. I couldn't stop laughing. That is, until Carlos came over, threw Gabby on his shoulders, and asked her why she was so angry. When he told her that he should be the angry one, because she was in love, and getting married, while he was just having fun with Edie, was so sad. He still loves her, and she finally realizes it. The question is, what is going to happen now?

Susan making the decision to stick with Ian was honorable. Even more honorable, however, was Ian realizing that she loves Mike a little bit more, and deciding to go back to England.

Lynette's step-daughter is a little witch. I can't stand her, just as much as I couldn't stand Nora. Granted, what Lynette is doing is wrong, even if she isn't sleeping with Rick. She's emotionally cheating on Tom. However, that little step-daughter of hers needs a good, hard spanking!

The Mrs. McCluskey mystery was solved. I'm glad to see her back home. I really like her character. She has really become one of my favorites of this season. It was great when she showed up after the Birthday party was over, to clear the air.

I can't wait until next weeks episode, even though it's closer to being the end of the season. I really don't want it to end, because I've enjoyed it so much. I am excited about the return of Bree. Of course, I'm sure there will be some big mystery introduced, right at the end of this season. It will be interesting to see what it is.

Thanks for posting the clips, and great picture of Marcia Cross with the twins, Rowlf_The_Dog!

I can't wait until tomorrow night. I'll have to record it, as I'll be watching Spider-Man 3, while the new episode is on.

Only 3 episodes left. :( So sad. What am I supposed to do during the summer? I need my fix of Wisteria Lane! Thank goodness for DVDs.

We are leading up to something really strange for a season cliff-hanger. After tonight's episode, the previews for next week's final episode before the season finale looks very ominous for Lynette.

Susan was hilarious with her guide "Tony" trying to hike in the woods to get to Mike. The trail guide had some of the best lines of the evening.

Gaby made a fool of herself again, and embarrassed Victor on the evening of their victory party. She has called herself the "First Lady of Fairview" and has gotten her into some deep Kimchi.

Travers' dad made a surprise appearance to pick up his son, and Carlos made it clear to Edie that he would be there for her.

I really miss Marcia Cross and I guess we have to wait for two weeks before we see her again. Then it will be hiatus time for the summer and I will be so glad that I have recorded and saved to DVD+RW the whole season so I can watch and re-watch it again while I am waiting for the official DVD release of Season Three to come out in August or September.

I have one thing to say: Lynette rawked this episode. I was so proud of her. But also a little disappointed that she doesn't feel fulfilled with being a mother and a wife.

I couldn't believe Gabby didn't flip out at Victor when he was yelling at her! And he's behind the organized crime?? Whoa.

Carlos/Edie are a wierd pair. At first I liked them, but now I'm pissed that they're using Travers.

Susan was boring as always (why does she dress like a teenager?), but it was great to finally see her back with Mike.

Next week looks quite entertaining. I'm really hoping Lynette and Tom's marriage can survive whatever the thing is...

Tonight was great! I've read spoilers for the two-part finale ... and gosh ... so much happens ... and it's all frickin good ...

Yay that Susan is finally ... finally ... did i say FINALLY ... back with Mike ...

Toni creeped me out ... and Victor is a little creepy too after his monologue ...

Felicity Huffman was INCREDIBLE in tonight's episode. I'm outrageously pissed at Lynette for being so hypocritical, considering she left Tom last season after she thought he was cheating on her. Thankfully she's coming to her senses.

I'm glad Susan is back with Mike; I couldn't stand Ian. She hasn't bothered me as much these past few weeks, but I'm sure she'll return to her old self once this storyline is done and over with.

Gaby bugged me tonight. I didn't enjoy her story much.

This episode fell flat on its face for me... I enjoyed Susan's story, and the end of Lynette's little arc, but everything was pretty much 'meh', much in vein with most of Season 2. Now that would be ok for a filler episode somewhere in the middle of a season, but jeez, we're 3 episodes away from hiatus and this is what we get? Very disappointing...

An article I found ...
Desperate Housewives to Revive Andrew van de Kamp

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry recently announced that he'll finally give Andrew van de Kamp (Shawn Pyfrom), who has been largely absent from the show except as a background character something to do again:

Marc Cherry: "I think that he'll have some interesting gay adventures. Right now we're just winding down season 3, but in June the writing staff gets together and we'll talk about that. But you know, he's had such a tame year, it's time to kind of juice him up again… A lot of writers feel that sometimes, young boys say 'bisexual' because that's 'a stop on the way to gay town.' But you know, I actually think it might be fascinating if Andrew experiments, as long as we have some interesting complications from that. I know that so many gay teenagers do 'try it' just to please their parents. So we'll see. Something shocking would happen as a result."

Spoilers for the finale ...

The episode is titled "Getting Married Today" ...

Read at your own risk ( highlight please :) )
Next week's TV Guide has an article on the finale with some photo. Here are a few quotes from the stars on what happens ...

Kyle on Borson's big news, which will be revealed in the last few minutes: "It's a feint within a feint."

Ricardo on the Gablosex: "There is definitely physical contact on the wedding grounds. And it happens in a positive way."

Eva on Gaby's cold feet: "She discovers a dark side to Victor that gives her the jitters."

Teri on Susan and Mike's wedding: "We're coming to a conclusion in that relationship that Americans have been waiting three years for."

Felicity on Lynette's cancer: "[The illness] trumps all her prior troubles." On Lynette's mother: "It's a difficult, rocky relationship."

And ... I don't know if anyone heard but ... Marcia Cross revealed on Letterman last week that when she returns she'll be in a "particular condition" and then Dave asked her if it was physical and she said "yes", to which Dave said, you'll come back pregnant. Marcia looked at him, and then gasped and then looked to Paul Shaffer and said "I didn't say anything!" and sort of had that look like she was going to be killed by the ABC execs.

Hmm ... I wonder if it's true or if she's just playing with our heads LOL
