I recently bought "Girlfriends: Season One". I had never bought a season set before...I like the idea of them, and I might buy more someday...I just haven't watched it since I bought it, and I thought I would be during spring break...

I forgot when I made my post Wednesday that I had picked up a few $5.50 DVDs at Wally-World...

The Flight of the Phoenix (1965)
Dunston Checks In
Fly Away Home

Oh, and for those wondering about my TMNT deal, it was a case of a mis-shelved DVD at my local store, and probably wouldn't have been honored if another clerk or manager had done it.

Basically, the TMNT Movies 3-pack was on sale for 16.99, but I found the price tag on the New Release wall, and it just said "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - $16.99" and there were two rows of Season 4, and none of the movie box sets.. The sale tag was on the second row, which had one Season 4 in it.

Wal-Mart
Casino Royale- $16.99

Hastings
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life- $6
Great Mouse Detective- $16.99

All in all, good haul today. But the special features on Casino Royale kinda suck...especially for a two-discer...

The Champions: The Complete Series R2 PAL
All thirty episodes on 9 discs. Its wonderfully presented, with a thick, informative booklet and loads of 'special edition' extras. I picked this up cheap, but don't regret it at all. I hope Randal and Hopkirk (Deceased) has the same treatment. *sigh* That's been pushed back (again).

I actually sold the above-mentioned "Girlfriends" Season One set. But, I did just order "Pinocchio" and "101 Dalmatians" online from a seller on half.com. He had good feedback, and they were cheaply priced...I'm hoping they're not bootlegs...

Thanks for the info!! So all the special features are in English (except the BBC dcumentary)? This is great, because my French isn't the best. Or I can practice it by watching it in French. How much was shipping?

It was 6.05 Euros for the shipping. But that was to Britain remember. Yes, they are in English. They all come up with French subtitles, but you can turn them off with your controller. The same for when you select English for the films soundtrack (it has English and French in both DD5.1 and DTS)
