Maybe he dosen't want his mouth washed out with soap or its the work of a voodoo guy in New orleans....look out Rex could be a frog next
Also is that what they are calling him? Utilitiy Belt Buzz?? Please Tell me we aren't going to have a Spanish Talking Buzz to compete with Nick Jrs Dora or Diego...and then have a whole line on international talking Buzzes one for china one for japan one for asia one for french...and then next thing you know Buzz is the next Muzzy
I also thought it might be cool to introduce the toy Versioin of the The Buzz Team from the animated series.....that would either be too overdone or flop or by hysterical by too much....oh no did someone rumor Toy Story 4.....I hope I didn't give Disney/Pixar any Ideas

ARGH! I knew it! Now they're coming out with more accurate versions! They're making my buy Woody AGAIN! Expect to see the Green Aliens in stores with a box reading "Now we Squeak"! That Bullseye is making me drool though! And, interesting, a new character for the Toy Story Collection!

Umm, no, look at the high res images, these are the exact same versions we already have. Same opened mouth as before.

Wow, those new toys look fantastic!! I'm dissapointed by no Hamm though.

So it looks like Wave 2 is Bullseye, Jessie, Mr. Potato Head, the new pink bear from TS3, and Utility Buzz. I think Bullseye looks the best of them for sure. I'm thinking I'm only getting Bullseye and Potato Head from this wave, only if they release Stinky Pete is the only way I'll get Jessie so I can have the whole Round-Up Gang!
Looking at the high-resolution pictures, it looks like the "Toy Story Collection" logo on the aliens is different, but I doubt we'll get another release of them again, lol. They SHOULD have had them squeak, that's my only complaint from Wave 1.
You know what else? I wish they hadn't released all the big "stars" on Wave 1. I think Woody should have been in Wave 1 but save Buzz for Wave 2. Wave 2 doesn't seem as impressive as Wave 1 even though it has its fair share of starpower, lol.

Wave one released before Christmas, they would be fools not to have both Buzz and Woody out before the holidays. that was their plan.
I don't mind the ones in wave 2, but there had better be a wave 3 (with Stinky Pete and Hamm in it) or else I would have just preferred they replaced Utility belt buzz with one of those.

Love the Mr. Potato Head box! Can't wait till he comes out!
And Jessie and Bullseye look great. They've released Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye... they've GOT to make the Prospector!
And Utility Belt Buzz is something I just KNOW I'm gonna have to get... the collector in me won't let me NOT get it lol.
Disappointed that there was no word on Hamm, though =(

I would love a Zurg figure! ("LOOK HERE" hole and all!)
It does not seem likely though because their next wave is so close to Toy Story 3 and Zurg might not even be in it.

I'd pick up a Zurg instantly if it was eternally frustrated, overly flamboyantly evil and completely useless BLoSC Zurg, voiced by Wayne Knight (also did the voice of Al in TS2) - The movie version didn't even have a personality beyond his 2 or so lines.
Booster has turned up as a toy in the the Toy Story comics so it's possible.

I'm betting (okay, more like hoping) we'll get a third wave by the time TS3 hits blu ray. that would probably be our last hope of getting a anything left out of wave 2.
I really doubt we'll get a 4th wave, so this would have to be it. unless the other waves sell outrageously well.
And Id only want the movie version of Zurg. I cant take the cartoon too seriously when it comes to the movie canon. yes, he lacked personality, but that was what made him funny.
not to mention it'd be pretty random to see them make new toys based on Buzz Lightyear of Star Command wouldn't it? a booster cameo in a comic means nothing, it doesn't take much to sketch him in a pannel of a comic. I don't see them making toys for it these days, they have no reason to promote a show that is no longer being made (does it even air anymore? it may, but Im not sure) or being re released in any way.

Well, he turned up more as a significant part of the plot rather than a quick one frame cameo. Of course them producing Toys would never happen (it's been off the air for 1 1/2 years and the DVD has been OOPed very recently..), but I would sure get a kick out of it as I loved the TV show's quirkiness - you can tell there is a bit of DW hidden in there.
I was never really into Toy Story as a kid (or Pixar really... I prefer Traditional) and I kept them rather separate in my mind which I think is one of the reasons I liked it so much - Toy Buzz and BLoSC Buzz had as much to do with each other as Toy Woody and Woody's Roundup Woody.
The ultimate irony would be them making the series and doing a Mira Nova action figure - Disney Marketing refused to make one because they feared it wouldn't sell despite her being the series' 'kick ass' character.

Hell, even if Zurg wasn't part of the "Toy Story Collection" (with Certificate of Authenticity and all) they should at least make on in-scale and movie accurate without all the bells and whistles (like Buzz, Woody, and Jessie).

Heads up, folks! I spotted something very special for us Toy Story Collection collectors in this video of the Toy Story 3 presentation at Toy Fair!

Did you see it? It's the Woody's Round-Up guitar! Probably not a COA toy, but I checked out the scene with all the Woody's Round-Up stuff from Toy Story 2 on YouTube, and it looks just like it! I want one of these! Looks like there's a Woody's Round Up harmonica there too. I don't even see "Toy Story" on the packaging! Not only will I get one if these come out, but if they don't add the Toy Story Logo to the front, I may keep it in the package. Same with the harmonica. If/when anyone sees these in stores, please post! I don't know if I'd catch them myself. Ya know, it's actually not impossible that we'd see some Buzz Lightyear fo Star Command stuff come out eventually to compliment these items. It'd be cool, anyway. Though, I guess the old toys from the real show would qualify as actual Buzz Lightyear of Star Command items, ha, but I sure would love versions of the other characters to scale with the real Buzz.

Really? Wow, I'm amazed no one's been talking about them! Am I the only one who loves these? The guitar in particular...
Great pics, thanks for the links.
If I get the harmonica, I'll definitely keep it on the card. The Guitar I'm undecided on if I will unpackage it or not. Sad that there's no Hamm anywhere...

Ive mentioned them (though no here) but yeah, no one seems to care. I do think its awesome, and I might end up getting at least one of them. I wonder if the guitar actually works, or does it have some kind of electronic gimmick. does it sound any good? I guess it doesn't matter much, it would just be for display if I did get it (I cant play any how), and it does look very accurate so far. if its as accurate as I think it is I don't know why they don't just make it part of the toy story collection. of course then you'd have to deal with the logo and other annoyances on the packaging, but still.
there has to a toy story logo somewhere on it though, they just couldn't sell it without one somewhere. maybe its on the side or something.
I wonder how much these will be...anyone know?

Yeah, they look like they'd be nice and cheap, ha. I don't imagine it's all that great to play, but I would also just be getting it for display. And, they COULD release it without the Toy Story logo, but it looks like there's some sort of logo on there anyway to take away from the old-fashioned look (sigh), but nowhere near as bad as the big, blocky, colorful Toy Story logo. I'm pretty pleased with the packaging on these.
Oh, and I added to my previous post too.
