Bridge to Terabithia- I actually read the book. While I guess it's refreshing for Disney than the "inspirational sports movie", I can't imagine families(or anyone, for that matter) "rushing" out to see this.

Well SD really hurt me (36% ouch ) but Stick it was more in line.

I haven't checked this thread for a while, but I ain't doing too shabby!

Well, I guess its time I eat crow about my prediction for Pirates. This thing has really surprised me. My original prediction was $325, then I lowered it to $250 after seeing the trailer. I guess I let my anticipation for the movie cloud my preception of other people's anticpation for the movie. As of Monday, its already at $361! It just blows me away how many people go to see what I consider a mediocre movie due to hype and marketing.

I was also off with Cars. My prediction of $300 won't be met with a current gross of $235. I still haven't seen it, so I don't know why it didn't meet my prediction.

Its interesting to note how some movies you'd expect to be huge, turn out to be duds at the box office, like Superman Returns. I would have thought it'd do at least $300, but it's looking like it won't even make $200. I think Warner was expecting more too, given the reported budget of $260. Again, I haven't seen this movie, so I'm not sure why it hasn't fared so well.

Dead Man's Chest will most likely end with about $420 million. Wich is great. I hope it can have some good late legs to push it past $430 million, closer to my $456 million prediction.

I wonder when we're gonna have our first look at Bridge to Terabithia. I hope it's good. We rarely see great films from Disney outside summer or winter.

I just realised my Cars prediction might end up right on target. go me.

It might even end up with more than my 243 million. Amazing run for an amazing film.

Well Pirates has blown by me as well (350) heres to hoping it can take down THe Phantom Menace (431)

Like everyone else, DMC has overblown my prediction. Here's to hoping it can take down Shrek 2 and The Phantom Menace.
