I have watched Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers several times this week...for some reason my family hadn't bought it when it came out, and then we forgot it was around...I saw part of it at work, fell in love, rented it, fell MORE in love, and bought it. Mickey and the gang in their Three Musketeers costumes have replaced Aladdin and Jasmine on my desktop wallpaper...Aladdin and Jasmine had been on my desktop for 8 months. :-D

Same here! I watched it last night with my reluctant mom. Nobody in my family appreciates Disney movies, so they all avoided the living room while Cinderella was on. My little brother passed only once, and not without making a comment on the movie's retardedness.

I, however, think the film is absolutely enchanting, and the climax is so exciting. When Lucifer slammed the teacup over Gus just when he was about to slip the key under Cinderella's door, my mom let out a gasp of shock.

Bambi.

I always find it sad when Bambi's mother dies and he looks for her. I like that song when all the birds are singing and the owl moves to a different and then Bambi sharpens his antlers and the tree shakes and Friend Owl sees so many deer.

For the first time in about 11 years.....Snow White!

I received this for Christmas off my brother (Region 1) and I though I'd have to watch it on the computer due to my living in a region 2 area, but lo and behold! It turns out my DVD player is multiregion :D , so I watched it last night in bed :P .

I love it, especially when i've been bashing it on certain threads, I just remember her voice being so annoying, but when I watched it last night, it really wasn't.

Now I can finally see what the buzz is about, its great! :D

In the past 24 hours, I've watched "The Sword in the Stone," "Sleeping Beauty," and "Beauty and the Beast." I need something to do until college is back in session.

Just finished watching Song of the South, which I just received in the mail. Along with the extras was the Warner Bros. short "Coal Black".

Good way to spend the morning hours waiting to get back to work.

I just watched "Pete's Dragon." With that viewing, I can now add a new title to my "Disney Movies That Make Me Cry" list.

Finally I went back to Disney.

I've bee too busy with cable and playing videogames. And besides I wasn't in the mood for musicals.

I wanted to watch something else than Aladdin on my new LCD HDTV but I just couldn't do it. My first Disney movie wasn't going to be Aladdin? Sorry but no.

So finally I watched:

Aladdin

The Return of Jafar

... and right now Aladdin and the King of Thieves.

PS

Of course I knew I couldn't expect much for the sequels, and especially since with a TV like you'd either see a HUGE improvement or ALL THE GRAIN and stuff. But they scream: VHS!!!

But you know what's the funniest part? In all the scenes that have black or dark colors the video quality is very pristine. However, in all the other bright/day scenes you get to see all the grain and artifacts. Isn't is supposed to be the other way around? :?

Yesterday I rented Lady and the Tramp so I could decide if it's worth the extra money on importing it (since in Israel we'll probably get a crappy single disc "Platinum"). All my childhood memories of a fun spirited, charming film were not mistaken. This movie, in my opinion, is Walt at his peak. The pacing is swift, the story is interesting, and the characters are adorable beyond words. This is a classic. Not just a Disney classic, a classic period. I will definetely import this through Amazon. It is worth the extra cash I'll pay.

Hercules

Another one that NEEDS the 2-Disc treatment ASAP.

The transfer is HORRIBLE. Not Pocahontas GC quality but almost. And again, in most dark/black scenes it is very pristine. But 95% of the movie is filled with grain and stuff

Yesterday, Beauty and the Beast.

I think it is a very good movie in the way it was made. I mean, you can sit and watch it as a "regular" movie. By this I mean, is that it isn't as dramatic as :LK, or HUNCHBACK. With BATB you can just sit down enjoy since the real dramatic moment comes near the end and it doesn't last long before you reach the happy ending.

By the way, nice transfer. 8)

...and right now The Lion King. As great as always. Everything here is just perfect: animation, acting, story, music, pace.... EVERYTHING! This is the kind of movie that although dramatic, as soon as you put it on the DVD player grabs your attention and never lets go.

; a shame Disney dropped the ball with their latest movies.

By the way: BRILLIANT TRANSFER :o 8)

Was I the only one that has been watching Disney movies recently?

I'm watching right now Atlantis.

... boring. Why couln't they have done something more of it?

For me, this is the kind of movie you watch just to kill time. Just to have sonething there.... and not to even pay attention the whole time, how sad.

At least, this is another that has an awesome transfer.

I've been watching Disney movies almost every day, so you aren't alone EG Jafar! Last night I watched my blind buy- Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. It was very entertaining, although it ran a little long. Today, I pulled out my VHS copy of Peter Pan, which I haven't seen in a solid five years. Fun movie, although Tinkerbell comes off a tad bit....well, fill in your own thoughts here. I just started watching The Rescuers about five minutes ago- it's actually one of my favorites, and I just bought the DVD a few days ago. Who knows what I'll watch next. I have a cold and don't feel like doing anything else except watch movies.

Watching the Pocahontas Gold Collection DVD. Is the 10th anniversary DVD worth getting if I already have the GC DVD?
