disneyinfo@disneyhelp.com - this is the only one that actually merits my emails with a response (most of the time)

This is what I sent on June 20th, 2005
Dear Disney,
I know that y'all are making plans for a That's So Raven complete
season release. I wonder if I can offer my two-cents. Please don't
label it as a Box Set 1. Make it a "Complete First Season " On the
front have just Raven but make it look classy. On the side have a
picture of Raven with the "eyes all messed up vision face" It will be
a four disc set holding all 21 episodes of the first season in order
of production number. Have 6 episodes on each disc, except that 3
episodes are on the last disc with it bursting with bonus features. On
the first three disc the disc art will be one of the 3 main characters
(Raven, Chelsea, And Eddie) and on the last disc a picture of the rest
of the Baxter family (Victor, Tanya, and Cory). Each disc will be put
in a clear slim case put into a cardboard "collector's box" It's
design of the box will look similar to That '70s Show DVD release,
with the 4 clear cases in a box. On the 2nd Season put all 22 episodes
on, and on the 3rd and last have all 33 episodes on a 4-disc set. My
advice is to release Season 1 this November, Season 2 in Summer 2006
when the "That's So Raven Movie" hits theatres, and then release
Season 3 when the movie is available on DVD in November 2006. Thank
you for taking your time out to listen to my suggestions, I feel that
listening pesonal suggestions are what make Studios the best. Thanks.
just my suggestions! :D Even though I must change it now, due to the adding of a Season, theyll just have to release S1 earlier... like August and S2 in Nov, S3 in June, and S4 in Nov '06!

That's quite all right! You're the biggest Disney Channel fan I know! But where is a season release of Raven? They have to release one now!
-James
True. We need one NOW!

Adam, there's a good chance you'll get a reply with a legal notice saying how Disney can't accept outside ideas. It's basically just to cover their butts against someone looking to get compensated for having their idea accepted, which you're obviously not doing. But while suggesting something come to DVD seems to get a response back (basically, the form response with latest info), such a detailed recommendation might well get the legal notice, which might make you think they're actually already considering doing such a thing (which, in the case of "Raven" season/volume sets, is probably a safe bet), but they very well could not be.

but there is always hope! And so far, I haven't gotten any legal notices...Is that a bad thing meaning no Raven DVDs? Or is it a good thing meaning theyll take it into consideration?

While were on the subject who actually decides what is coming to DVD? Is there someone sitting there daily," I believe Raven should get a DVD in November, and Lizzie in December" What is the process? Who, specifically, gets to make all those decisions?

Neither really. It just means they haven't deemed any of your suggestions as specific enough to warrant a legal notice. The one you posted seems fairly specific, but let us know what happens!

The Marketing Department. They decide all!

That is one great idea for the first season Sofa! Very nice! And I too would like to work at that marketing department.

Oh, yay........

The show was fresh for um, like the first week, and then it was like meh, and now I usually leave when my sister is watching. Not as interesting anymore; however, it seems to be better than some other shows which are even worse on the station.

Great News, That's So Raven Used To Be On Of My Favorite Shows. Too Bad They Couldn't Expand Even Stevens, In My Opinion It's a Better Show.

I really like this show but I had hoped they would stop because some of the newer episodes arent that good, some were good like the old ones but some of the new ones felt they didnt give it their best. It's like they are running out of good ideas. Just one thing- stop making Raven the bad person in every episode now...it gets so annoying because like she's the cool one. (ie: Raven using her brother to get into a music video.) :(

maybe Raven will turn things around!

But being a "bad" person fits Raven so well to her actual life! :P

What did Raven do in her real life that is so bad? I always thought she was just a girl that likes to cook in real life.

This is very...... interesting. I'm not that HUGE of a fan of That's So Raven, but while I thought the show was just stupid and annoying at first, I will admit that I've grown to like it as I think the show has gotten funny over time.

However, I, like some others on here, think there were way better shows to extend; Even Stevens, So Weird (Fi era), and if they wanted to make a ton of money Lizzie McGuire. I am also liking Phil of the Future a lot, it just annoys me that while Disney Channel shows the exact same shows over, and over, and over, and over throughout the day I never seem to catch an episode of Phil of the Future other than the one where he doesn't have a pinky toe. :? It also annoys me that of all the great original Disney Channel shows from the past, they show the same episode of a show more than once in a day. And also, instead of showing 3 half-music videos throughout the commercial breaks of a show, why not just show 1 whole music video?

UGGGHHH. My pet peeves with Disney Channel. College student home for the summer, with 10 yr old sister who hogs the TV with Disney channel. Need a break!

I forgot to mention that I saw a preview of the new season of Punk'd on MTV, and Raven is supposed to get punked! I think it would be so funny if one of the golden girls of Disney got Punk'd, and they let a bunch of non-golden language and behavior slip! Actually, I would feel really sorry. Bravo to Hilary Duff for staying sweet during her prank on Punk'd.
