Same with me. I have the first 4 seasons (along with 3 of the compilations) on DVD, but I haven't finished Season 3 yet, and I haven't done the bonus features on any of them. I've been distracted with other DVD releases, and the fact that I can see The Simpsons on TV so much has kept me from devoting my time to it. I will get to it eventually! A S5 purchase might be a way's off for me.

Yea, like last week it was $29.99 at Target or BB (one of those).

I like the packaging after having read the article about the change. It's pretty unique. Half were actual boxes and half are going to be character shaped boxes. It'll look cool on the shelves! :D

Oh man, I forgot about bonus features. I haven't watched a single bonus feature on any of my seasons 1-4; all I've watched are the commentaries that have Conan O'Brien on them. :P I've been too busy. And even if I do get seasons 5 or 6, I doubt I'd watch them for a while until I find time in my DVD and life schedule to get to them.

It looks kind-of plan but it made me laugh the first time I saw it... so I think it's not bad.

do you think that it couldbe easily ripped or damaged because of the unusual presentation?

Well, it looks from the image that the packaging is made out of the same material used to make the Disney Treasures tins, so it doesn't look very fragile.

Is it possible that inside the Homer case will be the same kind of packaging that we're used to?

Whoa, now.
The normal packaging could be inside the Homer tin, but I don't see the point. Any effort put into making the inside packaging look good would be wasted since you would never see it. And why make the tin to put the packaging in at the 6th season? Why not sooner? Awallaceunc, that little question of yours raised so many questions for me. Darn you.....

Well I didn't like the art work for The Simpsons 6th Season it looks silly but oh well something different can work.

I can't wait to see the art work of Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Marge.... :D

My order of release

7th Season Bart
8th Season Marge
9th Season Lisa
10th Season Maggie
11th Season Ned Flanders :P

Well the cover art being different doesn't really bother me, but what does bother me is, that looks like it's going to be made of some pretty sturdy plastic! I hope that isn't going to affect the SRP at all!

I was wondering that but from the picture it looks kinda skinny. I guess we'll have to wait and see. :( I'm so impatient.

I too find the cover rather hideous.

I miss the cover art where they're all sitting at the couch! It was even funny.

Oh well, I don't really buy shows on DVD unless they haven't been on t.v. for years so it doesn't matter to me that much.

I wouldn't mind this too much if it was a regular box like the first 5 seasons just with Homer's face on the front. Oh well.

Maybe it'll be Marge from her high school years, when she didn't have the beehive! ;)

Or maybe it will have Marge's hair down like in the Dove commercial.

At first I didn't like the packaging because of the inconsistency, but now that I see what they're doing, I like it! I bet ya anything Bart's gonna be next. I would like to see a Mr. Burns packaging  .
