I've ranked these in rough order of usage, and I do believe that these are the most essential things you'd need to maintain the site as an informative and reliable source of Disney film and DVD news. Obviously, I use the forum quite a bit, and when I don't, I still check the news and reviews for potential purchases.
• Forum
• News and Press Releases
• Upcoming DVD Schedule
• DVD Reviews (Index)
• Lists of Titles and Checklists (Animated Classics, TV Shows, etc.)
• Coming to Theaters Page (Previews and links of upcoming Disney movies)

With the exception of the Cover Art, you could almost do away with these last five completely, and still have one of the best sites on the net. The countdowns can be fun, but there aren't really that many left, and seem like a lot of effort for (what I hate to say) is a fairly pointless exercise. Everbody has their favourites, and nobody is going to agree - that is what the forum is for.

The Contests are nice, but if you have to spend more money than you make on them, then it just isn't worth it.

And Their Is My List. I love all of the parts of Ultimate Disney A lot, but their is the list of what I love most to what I still love but not the most.

I am probably not as active on the community front as I could be but, thats just me

I find the reviews most important, usually because I get news e-mailed to me by TVSODVD and I am lazy

However Disc Art is a nice bonus here

I would put the others in a list , but I have never checked them out.

I first came here (as Jane McCoy says, "as a lurker") to find out the latest news and details about upcoming Disney DVDs. Since there's always new news, I put it as most important and best thing of UD. Then comes the forum because it is a great place to discuss the news and other stuff and ask questions and find answers and get answers to questions you have been meaning to ask but forgot to and only remembered because someone else asked . Upcoming art is a great visual aid and the reviews are A WONDERFUL aid in deciding whether or not to purchase a DVD. The contests and countdowns are always fun, but since they do not occur so often as the aforementioned parts of UD, they are lower on the list. I forgot that I was on the mailing list until I got the newsletter! I really don't read the newsletter if I check the site a lot, but when there are times when I haven't been on in a while, I'll read the newsletter. As for the Worldwide Shop/search...I never really used it since I don't buy anything online. But it is still a good part of the site for ppl who do buy stuff online. The only thing is that I don't think many ppl know about it.

I just wanted to add that I really love this site and it is really great that I can come to a place to get early news on Disney DVDs as well as look forward to them with other Disney fans.

the forum of course

The most important part to me is the forum / general discussiom

I love this site and it'll be hard ranking my favourite to least favourite parts sinc eI enjoy the whole site but I guess I can try and figure out what is most useful and least useful to me personally even though I like it all.

1. Upcoming DVD Cover & Disc Art [can't get enough of that part of the site. i just love looking at art and packaging. the more the better! i'm odd!]

2. News and Press Releases

3. Upcoming DVD Schedule

4. DVD Reviews [this site has some of the most enjoyable reviews out there i should add.]

5. Lists of Titles and Checklists

6. Countdowns [that is actually one of two things that got me coming back to the site daily and got me hooked on the site.]

7. Coming to Theatres Page [important but since i don't get out to theatres that much right now i haven't been reading this part of the site as much so i don't get too excited and then disappointed i never get to see it. odd me again.]

8. Worldwide Shop/Search [i don't shop online at all but i like this section to look at dvd art and dvd aspects from around the world.]

9. Contests [ranked low because i haven't taken part in any yet.]

10. Mailing List [i enjoy reading it but i usually check out everything i can in the site and never miss anything. it comes in handy when i've been gone for a couple days.]

I never included forums because I'm having a difficult time in ranking it.
