I wasted my money seeing this in the theater just because Holland Taylor was in it.Jack wrote: 2. Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over

Actually, that movie was quite good. Which was surprising, consider it's low budget and crazy story ideas. It was bizarre, but it was very well acted and well-written. It's more of an experience than a film. And it was a strange and creepy viewing experience. Not a bad movie at all.blackcauldron85 wrote:A film we watched the other week in my Art of Cinema class: "God Told Me To". My mind was basically thinking WTF through much of it. Hands-down the worst movie I've ever seen.
Milo and Otis was great. It was silly, cute, a little sad, a little scary, touching, warm. It was everything an animal movie should be. Maybe it would have been better if Dudley Moore hadn't done all the animal voices. But even then, it's still a great movie.Prudence wrote:Milo and Otis
Well it's a dance movie. Sometimes, I hate Grease so much I wish I could kick one of the cast members in the knee. But I go back and forth. Because it's a dance movie- and sometimes you just don't feel like dancing. But, Dirty Dancing is better than Grease in my opinion. Not because of the story, I guess in a way the stories are told with the same amount of detail. They even out in the end because Grease is a much more timeless idea driven mostly by production design. Dirty Dancing, I believe, had a smaller budget and I know was made under much more grueling conditions. But has a much more interesting story- because the characters actually experience real pain and emotions. And it was totally believable. And that's not an easy accomplishment for a dance movie. Dirty Dancing is like a spell - it has to cast itself on the viewer in order to work. But, I love the '80s, and I really like Dirty Dancing. At least there's something to like about it.STASHONE wrote:My least favorite movie of all time, I can easily say without a doubt, is Dirty Dancing. I'd rather poke my eyeballs out with flaming rusty nails than watch this movie. I seriously hate it.

OMGyes. I hate (hate!!) this movie.Dottie wrote:E.T.
Scary as hell.
Give that to a kid, and it'll still have nightmares of this awful rubber doll when it reaches the age of 18 (including me!)
The corn-field scene (from the original 1982 cut, of course), anyone?
That is my favorite movie of all time (even above any Disney movie). I watched it all the time as a kid and was only scared when Elliot woke up and the light in the shed was on. The "aweful rubber doll" was state of the art in 1982 and I feel it's still convincing more than 20 years later.E.T.
