I think I'm most anticipating Mary Poppins' release. I never picked up the Gold Edition as this was rumored soon after and haven't seen the film in at least 3 years. It's easily my favorite Disney live-action feature so I can't wait to see how this restored classic looks on the upcoming Special Edition Anniversary release and the bonus features sound incredible! I'm looking forward to this holiday season so much more now, I better start saving!!

Had to go w/ Pocahontas because I have been anticipating this one the longer... over a year!, we first heard about the release last August (2003), I believe, and I have not seen it since it was in theatres, now it may turn out that I really hate it, , but hopefully that won't be the case. I am looking forward to a prestine picture, and awesome crisp sound, and the new musical sequence which I hear great things about, and all the extras!!!

Plus once I get this, I will have every single modern movie classic (except Rescuer's Down Under, which I may pick up some time) that was released, starting with the The Little Mermaid and ending with Home on the Range/Brother Bear...

Next would have to be Cinderella and Mulan II.

I'm also looking forward to the Shaggy Dog movies, which I've never seen. I saw the TV remake, years ago, and really it. I hope that gets a release on DVD!

I wonder if Tarzan is really going to be re-releasing in 2005 and if it's re-release I pretty sure it's going to be a Masterpiece Edition (Just like Alice in Wonderland) or a Special Edition (Just like Mulan).

Hey, Luke what is the chance that Tarzan will be re-release because I think it has a 75% chance since it been in the vault for about six years.

Six years ago Tarzan was just under a year away from theatrical release. The DVD has been out of print for 2 years and 7½ months. I don't think we'll be seeing it re-released in 2005. By even the shortest moratorium period, it shouldn't be released again until 2007.

But, Luke this Disney UK site says that it's going to be re-releasing in May 2005.

According to Disney's UK site, "Tarzan" is being re-released internationally in 2005 (a friend of mine had already told me, but I didn't know how reliable his info was). So, I wouldn't be surprised if it was released again in the US.

I know there is the moratorium release window issue, but let's remember that "Mulan" and "A Bug's Life" didn't follow the window. Besides, when "Tarzan" went out-of-print, fewer people had DVD Players, so, if Disney wants to make money, they won't hold the release, considering it isn't part of their Platinum line-up.

Well, if Disney does release the DVD, I hope it is exactly the same as the previous collector's edition. I'm not willing to buy this film on DVD for the third time.

Not sure. All of these seem good.....well....maybe not ALL, but you get what I mean.

Maybe DuckTales: The Movie - Treasure of the Lost Lamp because I don't have that movie at all and I only remember ONE ITTY BITTY part of it. Hopefully I can get it.:D

I'll be buying Bambi, Pochantas, Lilo & Stitch, Cinderella, and any other animated classic. I'm most looking forward to all of them trying to complete my collection.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN II and/or III and/or IV plus ANY other!
MOST DEFINATELY is the BEST Pirate movie since Disney's TREASURE ISLAND.

Welcome to the forum. <i>Pirates of the Caribbean II</i> isn't scheduled to hit theaters until Summer 2006, so you'd be looking at December 2006 for the DVD.
