I find this post very, very curious, because I know a webcomic, in which the first six princesses are getting to know each other.

(My favorite meeting is the one between Snow White and Cinderella. I think this could really happen if they had known each other)

Is this the same person who did some fanart of the princesses doing "battle" (Ariel had the trident, Belle a mirror, and so on)? The last picture made me think of those.

Yes, the artist who created those fanart pics of the princesses readying themselves for battle also created an online comic inspired by those images. Basically it reveals that none of the princesses actually lived happily ever after by tying into the darker origins of the Grimm fairy tales. The villains from each of the respective princesses' worlds unite, led by Maleficent, and the princesses themselves end up meeting each other (as seen in those above pictures posted). Heroines like Alice and Wendy are also integral to the story. The art is beautiful especially coupled with the redesigns of some of the princesses, Snow White coming to mind.

I agree, the drawings are very pretty. I wasn't mocking the battle pictures, btw (I apologize if it was taken that way), just the one bit about Sneezy. The idea of the princesses uniting to stop evil (instead of, for example, Mickey) is kind of interesting to me. It depends on how it's done.

It reminds me of the princesses having powers that could hold the darkness at bay in Kingdom Hearts, except it gives them more focus/agency than there. The above picture of Aurora and SW talking in dreams reminds me of a detail in OUAT, where characters who have been cursed into a death-like sleep can communicate with each other. I'd love if they did something like this for princess merchandise--a game or comics/books--capitalizing on popular, money-making characters without completely divorcing them of their substance to do so. Basically, the Disney Princess version of Sailor Moon.

Maybe cause I feel like I have to make a point of how screwed up I think it is to associate those corrupt, fake Disney animated films with the real ones.

But I've said enough already, so don't mind me. Continue on thinking that Tangled is valid Disney animation like Little Mermaid is.
