Nothing at Walmart yet, however, The Real Canadian Superstore rolled out theirs. I picked up the Friday the 13th 4-Movie Collection for $13 and the 28 Weeks Later/28 Days Later 2-Movie set for $8. A bunch of other movies in the rack including some new ones like Scared Shrekless.

I hear some of the Wal-Marts are getting their Halloween selections out. I've already heard word that Halloween 4 and Halloween 5 - which I've never seen in WalMart - might actually be in the $5 bin this year. Perfect price for me since I never much cared for those movies but really want to check out the special features and, of course, Anchor Bay takes damn good care of their horror titles.

I wouldn't spend 1 cent on that "movie."
(For fear of people thinking I not only consider it to be effective as a torture film but also that I find the killer character's speeches to be meaningful instead of insultingly pretentious.)

Finally spotted a small Halloween rack at one local Walmart. No horror movies though, it just had stuff for kids like Scared Shrekless.

I found a few halloween films at one of my local Wal-Marts. They had a section for kids films and they had a section for standard horror films like Last House on the Left, The Exorcist, Poltergeist Frankenstein, etc.

I'd kill for that Crypt season to have been 6. I need to replace my current set.
Since my Birthday is coming up next week, I really want to actually get out to Wal-Mart to check their selection. Of course, for now, can't do anything...

Ghost Ship is part of a 4 pack up here in the Real Canadian Superstore. I can't remember what else is with it though. I think Gothicka and Dreamcatcher are two of the other films.

Forget Walmart. For some reason they are ignoring Halloween this year. I just got back from HMV and they rolled out their Halloween movies. Great selection of $5 and $10 DVDs, also some Blu-Rays. Everythign from Disney's Hocus Pocus to The Evil Dead.
I picked up The Evil Dead and Stephen King's It for $5 apiece.

I've had Evil Dead on DVD for about 9 years now. (The 2002 THX single-disc.)
I'm actually thinking of going to Wal-Mart tomorrow to see what they've got.
