I was thinking that, too. Sleeping Beauty must be more popular than I thought.

I thought most people on this forum would know that by now. Just look at the Genie Jafar vs mally for fuck's sake.

I personal pick those two as they look like a couple that would go well together just by looking at it. Even though unfortunately the movie reduced them to puppets to the <strike>fugly fairies</strike> plot.

If they did have time and room for development, I do truly think they would make great chemistry along lines of Flynn-Rapunzel.

^ Actually, I never bought that one. I thought they made great friends and I could definitly see why Ron would develop a crush on Kim (been there, done that, bought the T-shirt), but I don't see why it should be the other way around. The 'romance' itself wasn't executed very well. 'So The Drama' was great, but in season 4, they made the mistake of not letting them be 'real' boy- and girlfriend. Either let them stay just friends, or develop a romance. But having a boy- and girlfriend who don't act like it... I just don't see the point of it.

Belle and beast. They have had it the hardest and had to work really hard to have a relationship.

To be honest, I haven't seen much of season 4 (yeah, me of all people, lol) . . . I didn't have cable at the time but would like to sit down one of these days to properly watch them . . . hopefully on DVD if they ever release the latter half of the series. But season 3 is my favorite, full of tension like with the whole "jelling" incident in "Gorilla Fist" or the PMS-esque Kim in "Emotion Sickness." I agree that "So the Drama" was great and really wish it had ended there; it would have been the perfect series finale like they had originally planned on.

And speaking as a girl, I can totally see why Kim finally fell for Ron; he's been her best friend all those years and has been there for her through everything. I think it's something that a lot of girls want deep down but they're too caught up in, as the movie put it, "the food chain." I think it was clear she had long before but was in complete denial . . . while she's an amazingly strong character when she's off saving the world, she's still extremely intimidated and full of self-doubt when it comes to her social life in school. She was shallow in that aspect, afraid of not being able to handle the reaction of her peers if she was anything more than just friends with Ron.

And I'm not really sure they were meant to act like the typical "boyfriend & girlfriend" regardless . . . the handful of season 4 episodes I've seen allowed Ron to grow as a character to become more confident, and also allowed moments for Kim to pull back into her food chain mode. Since they'd already been best friends forever, I don't think switching over to dating mode would actually provide a huge change for their relationship (especially on a children's action show). I could never picture them all super-romantic all over each other anyway; instead, it seemed more natural for Ron to take Kim out on a date with his coupons. ;)

I'm not referring to regular Shego, but the school teacher one.

Yeah, I know. I thought about posting the drawings I've done of her here but they're not appropriate for this forum. :P

If you have a dA account you can find them in my KP gallery: http://enigmawing.deviantart.com/gallery/3395798 (if you don't have an account there's no way to turn off the mature filter to see them, which is why I'm not worried about providing a link here). If you don't have an account you can shoot me a PM; they're actually pretty tame but I don't want to tick anyone off. :)

Yeah, Shego and Drakken certainly had tension going on too. XD

Oooh, this thread! How did I not see this sooner haha XD

I also love Herc & Meg, and Tarzan & Jane are probably tied for first place with Eugene & Rapunzel for me.

Personally, I love Sleeping Beauty for its art & atmosphere, more than for the plot/deep character development. I don't hate the fairies, but I do wish they weren't so prominent...oh well. I see that one as more of an "art" film than anything else, and Philip is one of my favorite Disney fellas

Is it totally off the wall for me to say I enjoy Belle & Gaston? I don't want them together, exactly, I just think the moments where they interact are really fun/interesting/unresolved-sexual-tension-y
