Didn't you misspell 'spelled' as 'spelt'? (But then again English is not my native language so you can deny everything.)

Either way is acceptable in English.

It's both ways, though "spelt" is less common outside the UK.

The Sword in the Stone is one of my favorite disney movies in general, i like the light hearted tune of it.

This was actually rather difficult as all three films to me are about equally good. In the end I decided to choose...

1. The Jungle Book - I like the music and I like that this was the start of one of my favorite cartoons... Tale Spin.
2. The Sword in the Stone - I must have a seen a re-release in the theatre but movies I remember from when I was little always hold a higher place to me.
3. 101 Dalmations - A good, solid movie that ultimately just isn't as good as the other two.

My vote by far goes to One Hundred and One Dalmatians. What I liked about it (aside from the dogs) was how different the animation was from the other DACs of the time.

The Jungle Book would probably come in second even though some of the songs are kind of fun and the voices are good, it just feels dull in a few areas.

The Sword in the Stone comes in last, not because it is bad, but because I have not ever seen it in it's entirety.

WOW in the majority AGAIN...

101 Dalmations!

This was extremely hard. All three are some of my top favourites. But I would have to go with 101 Dalmations, as it holds childhood memories. Next it would be Sword In The Stone, and then the Jungle Book.

One Hundred and One Dalmatians (#2 in Overall Ranking)
The Jungle Book (#20 in Overall Ranking)
The Sword in the Stone (#33 in Overall Ranking)

1. The Jungle Book (soooo much fun)
2. The Sword in the stone (not as good as i thought it was when i was a kid, but still good!)
3. 101 Dalmatians (boring)

I picked the Jungle Book, though it was a very hard decision as I love them all. If I could do the poll each day, I would probably have a different decision each day.

Well, this one was easy. I love The Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians and they're both in my top ten, but I've always liked the former a bit more, especially because of the characters. I like The Sword in the Stone too, but not nearly as much as the other two.

My ranking is the same. I like that The Jungle Book was a return to what made the 50's films great, it is apparent that Walt was more involved in the film, with the backgrounds being so gorgeous even though it's Xerox. I like 101 Dalmatians as well for its unique style. I don't particularly care about The Sword in the Stone, it was an ominous sign for things to come.

Not my favorite era.

I really like #1.

#2 was never a favorite of mine and I don't like how it scraps all the material from the book. The live-action film is not only more faithful to the source material but it has way more heart as well. It's really implausible that Mowgli is torn away from the only family he's ever known (the wolves) and he never mentions them ever again in the animated film. I liked Bill Peet's ideas more and Terry Gilkinson's deleted songs are quite catchy and fit the ominous setting of the jungle better. This film is pretty much the only foreign culture Walt ever adapted in one of his animated films and it really shows because there's pretty much nothing Indian about it.

#3 is one of the worst Disney films imo. Truly horrid and it shows that Walt didn't have anything to do with this film. I feel so bad for the animators who wanted to work on Marc Davis' Chanticleer and were stuck working on this. And it's not that the source material is flawed, because King Arthur should have been a natural fit for Disney but you can tell the hearts of the animators weren't into this film at all (much like Musker and Clements in Hercules decades later).

Not a big fan of this era either, I don’t have any particular attachment to any of the films and I’m not a lover of the Xerox era in general, although I do feel they style fits well visually with 101 Dalmatians. My ranking would probably be as follows...

1. 101 Dalmatians
2. The Jungle Book
3. The Sword in the Stone

To be fair The Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians are probably interchangeable, The Jungle Book is a bit more lively with colourful characters (literally and figuratively speaking) but I think Cruella sways 101 Dalmatians slightly. Really could go either way though if I’m honest depending on my mood, they’re pretty much on par.

The Sword in the Stone. Knowing full well it is the lesser movie. However it's fun, funny and charming. Not to mention Madam Mim and the magic duel.

... One important aspect that people seem to forget, and even amazes me for a Disney movie, that Sir Ektor did care and loved Wart. Hear to what he says to his son when he got lost. And he meant it as you could tell by his body language and the way he lectures him when he gets back.

Disney could have had him be almost an evil stepfather but they didn't. And if he was always grounding Wart he didn't do it because he wanted to abuse him but because he didn't believe in what was going on and believed he was doing it for his own good. I even think that he would have eventually trained him to be a knight. He didn't at the moment because he was a child.

Also, when Wart pulls the sword he didn't hesitate to kneel and urged his son to the same.

... I really like that character. So sad there's no merchandise for him.

Overall I acknowledge that The Jungle Book is the best of the three. I used to not like it. Not that actually disliked it just that didn't do anything for me. But in more recent viewings I started to actually enjoy it. Also, it continued the line of Pinocchio of having more than one villain.

I personally never fully liked 101 Dalmatians. Even though I can say Cruella is a great villainess not even then I can say I enjoy the movie.

This is tough because I don't particularly like any of them!
