Are they actually ruined? youve cleaned them off the best you could and tested them? or are you just looking at the filth and not bothering? (not that I'd blame you) because I believe it takes more than liquid to ruin a disc. they aren't magnetic like tapes.
Anyway, I wouldn't bother replacing a lot of them, just hold off for the blu rays of each. For the best ones anyway. Obviously the less popular ones might not or will never get a blu ray release, but others undoubtedly will.

A bit. I'm actually waiting for the sales during Christmas. I'm hoping I can get a bunch then. Plus, I'm hoping my parents may take pity on me and buy me a few for Christmas lol.
I'll more than likely be doing this slowly. We will have to see.

If your parents are thoughtful, they should feel at least partially obligated to do so.

I wish I had read this thread sooner, because a few days ago I traded in my extra copy of the 2002 release of "Cinderella II"

Your best bet would be to go to FYE and trade them in. Out of all the stores I had previously traded in CDs and DVDs at, they pay the most, although it doesn't seem like a lot. It really depends on how popular the title is, how much it's being sold for already, and stuff like that. They wouldn't take High School Musical 2 because they would have paid me a penny for it! Guess they had too many copies already. Plus, if you opt to get your payment in the form of store credit you get 25% more. I always go for the store credit because I'm constantly buying CDs and DVDs, and although FYE is sometimes expensive, the store credit can cushion the blow of the sometimes high prices, plus their prices on used stuff is also pretty decent. Also you can order from multiple websites with the store credit (since it's in the form of a gift card).
