I got the Season 1 set for Fairly OddParents, and here are my opinions:

It's WAY overpriced. For $24.49, I got 12 11-minute episodes on 2 DVD-Rs. No bonus features. At all. This could've been put on 1 Dual Layered DVD easily and charged at a cheaper price. Also, the menus have 2 options: Play All and Episode Selection. The picture on the menus as the backround is just the cover art. It's too simple for $24.49. I guess this is what happens though since the DVDs are coming straight from the distributer. *shrugs* I'll probably get Season 2 of FOP and the 2 seasons of Rugrats anyways, but this was a major disappointment.

How are the transfers? DVD Quality?

The transfers are average TV on DVD transfers. Nothing overly spectacular.

I was excited too until I saw it was a BURN ON DEMAND thing. Why Nick doesn't just release the series in a complete set is beyond me.......They keep releasing sets of Spongebob Snoozepants, so why not a CLASSIC?

They are probably worried that it won't sell well.

well, nick doesn't care much about Rugrats. Its on at like 5 AM on Nicktoons network (and I think only on saturdays), and basically was dropped from Nickelodeon.

Maybe depending on how well the BURN ON DEMAND does will say "Nickelodeon, there is a market for these oldie cartoons!"

You're joking right?
