I agree that she looks very good here. But the song still stinks.

I'm so glad you loved it! I'm VERY in love with it. It's one of Madonna's best videos! Very sexy, indeed!

By the way, I've updated the original post with a widget featuring content from the new album. Under the audio section, you can hear a clip from the song, "Miles Away", off of the album!

I hate to love 4 Minutes, so I'm a little scared for the album, but maybe it'll be like Mariah's album. I hate to love Touch My Body too, but I was pleasantly surprised by E=MC2, so maybe there'll be some tracks on Hard Candy that pleasantly surprise me as well. Definitely not feeling the album art though. I really don't like a lot of album art anymore, actually.

Bumping to add that the Remixes of "4 Minutes" have been added to iTunes and Amazon.com.

Also, "4 Minutes" is currently #3 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Chart. #2 on Billboard's Pop 100 Chart, #1 on Billboard's Hot Digital Tracks and #1 on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs Chart!

Are the remixes any good? Madonna usually has some KILLER remixes, but everyone has a shitty remix or two. (Or if you're Celine Dion, almost all your remixes are shitty. :()

Double post, I know, sorry. :(

I heard the clips from Hard Candy. Although I won't promise that I'll feel the same way after the full songs leak/about a month after the full songs leak, currently the only songs I actually like are 4 Minutes, Dance 2nite, Miles Away, Voices, and Devil Wouldn't Recognize You. Hopefully hearing the full songs will change my mind, but I felt like a lot of them sounded like leftovers from Nelly Furtado, Gwen Stefani, and Fergie albums. :( But she'd definitely better release Dance 2nite and Miles Away as singles, because so far, I think they're the best tracks on the album. :D

i was disappointed. maybe it'll grow on me but it is kind of bad in my opinion and definitely not as good as Confessions.

I don't know what album you listened to, but, it wasn't Hard Candy. I will say that several songs on this album are quite different from the traditional song structure that pop music is known for. It has some amazing production. However, the breaks during some of the songs can seem disjointed...at first. Upon listening to it several times, I've found that this album is one of Madonna's best! Not THE best, but, one of the best. A career album, for sure. I would say to anyone giving this album a listen through for the first time, don't go on first impressions. Upon multiple listens, you'll find yourself wanting more!

I am extremely pleased with this album. I didn't know what to expect, with Madonna working with the producers she had chosen (Timbaland, Timberlake, The Neptunes), however, what she has done with them is beyond my expectations. I'm not too fond of "Candy Shop", which Madonna claims is a favorite of hers from the album. "Voices" is the other song that I'm not crazy about, but, I think it is a decent closing track. I'm sure it will grow on me.

The rest of the album, songs 2-11, I think, are great! My favorites are: "Give It 2 Me", "Heartbeat", "Miles Away", "She's Not Me", "Incredible", "Dance 2night", and "Devil Wouldn't Recognize You". That's actually quite a few favorites! The remix of "Give It 2 Me" is HOT! I can't wait to get it through iTunes (Deluxe Version). This album is fun, has some GREAT breaks, is funky, sexy, and most of all, harkens back to the early days of Madonna! That's what I love about it. It reminds me of early Madonna! I would really love to see "Dance 2night" and "Devil Wouldn't Recognize You" become singles. I think they would be HUGE hits for her!

I'm so excited to get the physical CD, and the iTunes Deluxe Version. I'm so very happy that this album turned out much better than I had expected!

Never bought a Madonna album but read the review in the local paper today. To say they didnt like it was an understatement. Absolutely brutal. And she doesnt look as good at 50 in leather as Joan Jett does at 60.

So, your point is? You've never bought a Madonna album, and I know you wouldn't. BUT, you read a negative review, and come into the thread to post about it, and to give a negative opinion about how YOU think Madonna doesn't look as good in leather at 50, compared to Joan Jett?! Seriously! You are in another dimension!

If you have nothing to contribute, but, only offer a negative opinion, it's best you don't offer anything at all.

At any rate, the reviews for the album have been extremely positive. The only negative reviews (and there are very few) aren't really reviewing the music at all, just talking about how they don't like Madonna. What does that have to do with the music?

I bought Hard Candy, and I have to say IMHO that it is probably her best album since Ray of Light. I like Candy Shop, 4 Minutes, Give it 2 Me (minus the 'get stupid' part in the middle, it just slows it down, still good though), Heartbeat (my personal fave, I love the vocals), Miles Away, Beat Goes On, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You, and Voices. The rest are good too just not AS good.

Another note about this album is that I am hearing a lot more of Madonna's voice which is fantastic. The past two or three CD's have been so computerized, so it is good to hear her actual voice shining through.

I just got finished watching Madonna's concert on MSN from NYC and it was very entertaining, Justin Timberlake made an appearance, and she sang some old hits. I pray that Heartbeat will be her next single...or Miles Away.

April has been such a great month for music, I can hardly stand it. May is going to suck!

Well, to be honest, that IS just YOUR local paper. This album has actually been getting really good reviews from credible sources like Rolling Stone and Billboard. The album is awesome, Madonna is always reinventing herself and bringing something new to the table, and "Hard Candy" is no exception.
