You do have a way with broken links, Mason.

But here you go...
Personally, I like the new direction that they are going with the covers.

*chuckles* yeah I seem to break links *laughs* oh well thanks for fixin it much appericated.
I like the different colors too but for the artist pictures use color and it's different from the prev. I'd mix ruby red with limegreen.
Also I recall on another Disneymania thread that I created (which by the way can we move this into Disneymania thread?) that somebody said that we wouldn't see mainstream artists like Jesse Mcarthy or Plain White T's, to me this is a surpise, but I always imagined Kelly Clarkson appearing on the DM series. Oh well.

I'm not feeling the red color, but you can't base a CD on its cover.
I can't wait until May 20th to hear song clips (unless some leak somewhere...?)!

I don't like the cover at all. You can't see the artist.
I am just tired of all the remakes OF THE SAME SONGS!
Why not do Something There, or One Jump Ahead, Be Our Guest, Friend Like Me, and so many other great songs they can do. GRRR Disney lol.

Nikki Blonsky!!! i can't believe Disney is adopting her, I don't expect it to last though.
Elijah Kelley is awesome too, his song is random but a goon one anyway; and i rather have that than the same songs, its like they either do the same ones, or songs that no one (I mean Disney tweens) even know about. Two Enchanted songs are way too many, they should have waited a little so they could feel more like classics, and two songs from the same movie is overkill. They should really work on getting at least D-list celebrities, Plain White T's are the only established band in pop-tween-culture in the whole album, they didn't even get they're own versions of A-listers; Miley, Jonas Brothers, and Aly & AJ.
Nikki makes it all worth it though.
Hmm, no Sleeping Beauty songs....could it be the end of the Disney Channel videos on Platinums???

I don't like some small changes and not changing others but over all it's pretty darn good.
Dispite not getting the talent they used to (its almost all DC people this time) the line up looks really good this time around and hearing this track is getting me really excited for it.

Samples of the DM6 songs are here:

Most of the songs sound really good! I'm not a big Colbie Cailait fan, and Billy Ray's version isn't as good as the original, but all in all, it's better than the last 2 Disneymanias. I'm excited!

I agree that most of 'em sound really good but I must say that
I think that Billy Ray's Real Gone
is better than the original and may be the best track on the album.
Also... anybody think about geting this one?
http://disneymusic.disney.go.com/albums ... party.html
It looks like a pre-school Disneymaina with people like the Wiggles & Doodlebops but there are also people like They Might Be Giants & Wayne Brady. Also most of the clips sound surprisingly good.
I may have to get that album but even if I don't They Might Be Giants' "Ballad of Davy Crockett (In Outer Space)" will be a must on iTunes at least.

Thanks for posting that link! I'm not feeling Davy Crockett in Space (what, are historical legends not cool enough anymore? You must put them in space?), "I Wan'na Be Like You", or "The Bare Necessities", but the rest of the songs sound surprisingly awesome!!! "Let's Go Fly A Kite" by Mickey & Goofy has to be my favorite- if only you could see my big smile when I heard that one!!!
"Coconut solo!"- lol! the Ooh & Aah "You've Got a Friend In Me" also made me smile- I believe those are the 2 monkeys who host Playhouse Disney. I might be getting this!

I think that Davy was way more They Might Be Giants (or at least there old stuff that was not about numbers and letters) in the way that they want to be catchy
and funny.

I know that they're a somewhat weirdish band, but I'd just rather have had the original Davy Crockett lyrics, that's all. I'm sure if I listened to it many times that it'd grow on me.

Awesome! My favorite I think would have to be "He Lives in You"
Elijah Kelley. I think he can really sing.

Here's the video for "If I Didn't Have You":

It's cute. I'm glad that Mitchel is singing- he's a better singer than rapper, IMO. It's not my most favorite Disneymania song ever, but it's definitely not the worst.

Oh man, this is pretty adorable! It's odd that all these Disney cover CDs are coming out all of a sudden, but I love it! I can't wait to get Disneymania 6 and the Kerry Butler CD. The samples are cute from what I heard, but I don't know if I would purchase the CD. The style is too preschool for my taste, but I guess that's what it was meant to be.
I was especially tickled to hear Mickey Mouse and Goofy since "Let's Go Fly A Kite." There aren't many Disney characters that sing other Disney characters' songs.

I need to look into the Kerry Butler CD- I haven't listened to song clips yet. I either have and can't find and need to rebuy or have somewhere a CD called "O Mickey, Where Art Thou?", which is bluegrass artists performing Disney songs. I don't like bluegrass music, but we bought it on sale at the Disney Store years ago, and it's actually good.
Jim Brickman (?) has a CD or 2 of Disney songs he's performed, right? Does anyone know of any other CDs that have Disney songs performed by other artists? I'm really interested!

I'm starting to think I won't be able to get this as soon as I'd hoped. I've checked MANY Canadian sites and nobody has it listed but Amazon.ca which lists it, and Block Party, as an import.

I checked some samples, I'm lookin forward to Demi's verison of How You Know (How To Love, accordin to me) She's such a good singer, true it's sad that Disney regs, (Miley, Jonas, Corbin, Vanessa) aren't appearin on here. but we got'ta try new things.
