LOL, thanks! It was such an easy costume.
Robe was $40. I purchased it at Universal City Walk's Halloween store. Pricey, but its high quality material. Thick and nicely stitched. The patch is fully embroided. Many of the cheaper robes, they are made from cheesy, easily ripped material with an iron on patch (if your lucky).
We bought the wand there too. It was only about $10.
I already had the dress shirt and a black skirt (in the movies it was a gray skirt, but I couldn't find one).
I bought gray tights. She wasn't thrilled, she hates tights, lol.
I didn't get the gray sweater, mostly because, I couldn't find one. I looked, but the only store in my hometown is Walmart and I was lucky to find gray tights.
We bought the cat at Universal City Walk's wildlife store.
I have to buy the shirt just to get the tie, not a dead-on match to the movie, but close.
And there was no need to buy the wig for the costume. That is her full head of hair. She just had 5" of it cut off a few months ago!
BTW, I am going as a HP themed witch. Calling myself a Hogwarts Graduate of 1997

LOL, thanks! And yup, 100% her hair, lol. I brush that horse mane twice a day....it's the reason I cut my hair short. I couldn't find enough time in the day to do two heads of long thick hair

Watch out Emma Watson, there's a new Hermione in town
It doesn't feel like Halloween to me since our house isn't decorated, we just didn't have the time or decorations. The last few years I've gone as different horror movie killers, Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers etc. But this year I have no idea so it might just be a lay-around-the-house Halloween this year.

Even though my family had ordered me not to go out last year (there's a difference of almost an hour from my school and my house. So While I have friends STILL going out in the where they live at home I was too old about three years ago) I still wanted to dress up since my school, a drama school, goes all out. I ended up running all over town and having everyone pitch in to help make me a Monty Python style King Arthur costume. It went fantastically well. I won 3rd place in the costume contest which meant I got nothing not even a paper saying it but whatever. I had fun. This year I have started making my much more simple costume early and I'll be going to school as Linus Van Pelt! I hope The Great Pumpkin gives gifts to all of you good little boys and girls in pumpkin patches this year!

These are pictures of my friend Eric as Woody, Erin as The Queen of Hearts, and Mike as Mr. Incredible.

(Drools thinking about the possibilities) I would not mind either.
Anyway I'm behind in my homework and the Halloween stuff but now to get to a Halloween update. I sadly lost my Killer Rabbit from last years Monty Python costume when going to the school dance.

Also I attempted to make a Oogie Boogie Jack O'Lantern which seems to look more like a ghost.

That's all for now.

Sadly, I have a midterm tomorrow, so I can't do anything Halloween-y save for dressing up for school / work...
