I'm Fine with Betty's FACE, what I don't like it the way the words look on the NEON GREEN it looks like something a fan made.

Good to know Lost is being held off close to the new season airdate. Plus, now I know what I want for Christmas! :D

Sept. 11 is going to be really bad on me though, between Jericho: Complete Series ( *sniff* *sniff* ) and Grey's: S3.

Cheers,

:( I wanted Lost a bit earlier. Oh well...
After viewing 3 episodes of B&S I have also decided to buy this show. I am surprised it took me so long to discover this hidden TV gem. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Definitely purchasing this one.

Will be getting Desperate Housewives, Lost, Grey's Anatomy....but I have a feeling that The Simpsons Season 11 will come out on the same day as the WDT and Lost S3.
Fox usually releases The Simpsons on the second Tuesday of December.

Between Sept. 4's release of Nip/tuck:Season 4 and DH:Season 3, then Sept 11th of Supernatural: Season 2, I better start saving now!

Also may be interested in checking out Brothers and Sisters too.

Brothers and Sisters: The Complete First Season is confirmed for September 18th!

Holy Crapola! I'm going to have to get an extra job, just for September, alone!

I'll be picking up Desperate Housewives: The Complete Third Season, Grey's Anatomy: The Complete Third Season, and Brothers and Sisters: The Complete First Season.

Crazy! That's going to be three sets, one each, over three weeks! I sure hope Disney is going to have some sort of rebate program, like they did last year. We can only hope!

Note to Anthony.

I'm a big fan of Gilmore Girls, Smallville and Supernatural and I wait until the price to drop then I bought the sets for $20.
Gilmore Girls Season 7, Smallville Season 6, One Tree Hill Season 4 and Supernatural will probably be $20 in November or December so I'll just wait. Not really sure about Nip/tuck Season 4 but the price should drop at some point.

Has anyone ever seen Desperate Housewives season 1 for 19.99 :?
It seems like all the other networks shows get price drops except for disney.

ZOOMBOOM0688, the lowest price I ever seen Desperate Housewives, Lost and Grey's Anatomy was $23.99 on Black Friday the past two years at Fry's Electronics. The sad thing is Best Buy or Circuit City or other stores don't price match on this day. Also not many Fry's Electronics are located in other states besides then California or Texas. The best bet on Disney sets is to buy them on the release week of the DVD.

MMO we're in the exact same boat. It's ridiculous, but I just love the shows so much. :D

The thing that sucks ... is I am prolly getting all 5 ... and you have to get them the week they come out to get the best price deal ... and any bonuses (yay! bonus discs) ...

The other thing that sucks ... is that LOST comes out in Dec ... and I am sure the week before that will be Treasures week ... and Pirates 3 comes out at that time too ... and prolly The Simpsons Season 11 ... and maybe the actual movie ...

Good Grief! I better be extra good this year ... so Santa can bring me all those goodies ...

**mental note** no more playing with MM1 so I can be a good boy the rest of the year ;) LOL

Well, I've gotten Lost, DH and Grey's season sets for the past two years at Target for $29.99 on Black Friday. That's pretty good. I'll be selling my DH season 2 set to get more funds for this year's slew of DVD's, since I didn't really like S2 that much and S3 only had one good episode, Bang. I won't be picking up S3, there's just too much other stuff that's coming out.

Cheers,

I'll be getting Betty in August and Grey's when it's released here in Germany.
What is Brothers&Sisters about?

Dottie wrote:What is Brothers&Sisters about?
It's a family drama about 5 siblings and their relationships with one another and with their parents and it basically follows their intertwined lives. From what I've seen so far a lot of it has to do with the consequences of a tragic death and some hidden company secrets (it's a family company so some of the family members work there). It's really well acted and scripted, and has both very humerous moments, very dramatic ones, heartfel moments and heartwrenching moments (and I'm only at episode 4! )

I wish that they would put more into the bonus material! I mean, I'm glad that they at least include something, but, they could do better. I am excited that they are including a bonus un-aired episode of Brothers and Sisters!

Maybe that bonus ep on the Bro and Sis set may be the original pilot ?
