I was a little kid when I watched E.T. for the first time, and to me it was so scary! I really couldn't stand watching it, and I was afraid of E.T.slave2moonlight wrote:Why? (By the way, I LOVE your avatar! I adore Belle with her hair down!)Dottie wrote:E.T. The whole movie!! Period.

I saw that movie not too long ago and that scene did not bother me that much. It was not creepy, it was just weird.RachelSmachel wrote:Pulp Fiction: The needle scene *shudders*
Ew! I also hate that!PixarFan2006 wrote:Another scene that kind of bothers me is in Home Alone 2 where that one burgular gets shocked and you can briefly see his skull for a minute. I know it sounds stupid.
I absolutely loathe needles, so watching it was extremely uncomfortable.PixarFan2006 wrote:I saw that movie not too long ago and that scene did not bother me that much. It was not creepy, it was just weird.RachelSmachel wrote:Pulp Fiction: The needle scene *shudders*
I can see where that can be a problem.RachelSmachel wrote:I absolutely loathe needles, so watching it was extremely uncomfortable.PixarFan2006 wrote: I saw that movie not too long ago and that scene did not bother me that much. It was not creepy, it was just weird.
I saw that movie one time, but I don't remember much of it. The scene with the mouse made me so sad.Jeffel wrote:The bit in The Green Mile where what's-his-face gets electorcuted without the wet sponge.
I agree. It just makes me so sad.DisneyFanatic wrote:I can't stand any scenes where animals are hurt or end up dying.
I know that Wikipedia can be wrong, but I found this out from Wikipedia and wonder if it is true:Lazario wrote:The first scene I think that affected me like that, speaking of horses, was that scene in The Never-Ending Story where Atrieau (?spelling?)'s horse sunk into the mud and we don't see what happened to it, so we have to assume it died. I think I almost screamed when I first saw that. I watched the movie again later and cried. But that first time, I literally had a hard time following the movie right after that moment ended. Now I'm a lot more used to it, but it is a terrifyingly sad, dramatic, tragic, and emotional moment which is played for all it's worth by the actor and that loud, overpowering '80s synth soundtrack, that is absolutely not easy to watch whatsoever. Even now.
I know that's got to make things a little harder, but I thought it would be something you'd like to know.In the scene where Artax the dies in the swamps of sadness the horse had to be tied down to a lowering platform to keep it in place. The horse was supposed to 'sink' but he really did. The platform lifts failed after "cut" was shouted, the platform got stuck under the sludge, and the horse died.
No mention of this on IMDb. However, they claim that the actor Noah Hathaway was pulled under the Swamp of Sadness set and was trapped there and knocked unconscious before being brought back up.Disney Duster wrote:I know that Wikipedia can be wrong, but I found this out from Wikipedia and wonder if it is true:I know that's got to make things a little harder, but I thought it would be something you'd like to know.In the scene where Artax the dies in the swamps of sadness the horse had to be tied down to a lowering platform to keep it in place.
