I wish they'd make a classic Disney Channel that shows all the old stuff. Nick has a game show channel that shows all their old game shows, why can't Disney have a channel that shows all their old stuff.Big Disney Fan wrote:And I'm 21 years old and I too remember The GOOD Disney Channel. Vintage Disney programming made up the majority of the schedule in the 1980's. We had classic cartoon shorts in the morning and afternoon, The Wonderful World of Disney every evening, and vintage titles shown throughout the month. Yes, there was other programming as well, but it didn't dominate the schedule as it does now. Then, in the 90's, vintage programming was relegated to late night only with Vault Disney. Still, I was able to get my fix, since I was up late, or I could tape something that caught my eye.
And as we know, a few years ago Vault Disney disappeared as well, and vintage Disney programming is a rarity on the channel now. So that's why I hate it. It may not be bad for what it is, but it's a mere shadow of what it was.
