I was wondering when these would make it to UD! I'm so happy with this batch, I don't even know which one I like more. WHat was the hold up, though? Seems like years since the last bunch.

How adorable! <3 Queen L. as Ursula and can't believe I'm about to say this, but Penelope was perfect as Belle!

I know its 2 years late, but NOOOOOOO! I love the pose here, but what ruins it...Zac and Vanessa! I'm not a fan of her because of her "intersting" photos, but NO! She's posing as my favorite Disney princess!

And they didnt get the dress right either!

And I don't like Zac as Philip either...its like Justin Bieber being Peter Pan for a pic...

You're overreacting; they don't always do the exact costume. Besides, had the same reaction at first since these were done wight in the middle od the HSM phenomenon but I think I Zac and Vanessa are just as qualified as anybody else.

As much as I love BatB, I think my favorite of the trio is the Evil Queen/Spirit of the Magic Mirror photo.

Oh ok. You have a point there. I'm sorry for overracting

An apology for overreaction? Am I on UD? (By the way, I feel mean because you said that

)
King Arthur, The Genie, and Aladding come to mind about not having them use the exact costume. And Ariel is much older too; I think it's supposed to fit a dreams theme, where you can be anything you want.

You don't need to apologie for overreacting! Only if Zac and Vanessa heard you, lol.
But I do have to say disneyprincess11, there is one thing that it would be better for you not to do. What you do a lot of the time is you quote what someone says and that has a lot of pictures in it. And I mean a lot of pictures. That puts too many images on one page of a thread and it's bad for our site.
What you need to do is just stick to quoting what the person says or just saying their name in bold, like Mr. UDmember, and then tell them what you wanted to say to them. The code bolding a name is [bold] insert name here [/bold], but instead of the word bold, just but a b, as in .
Anyway, I like these latest pictures a lot. I can't believe Queen Latifah agreed to be or even wanted to be Ursula. Her hair in the picture also looks a little fake, and I don't know why they changed her tentacles from purplish blue to just blue, but oh well, it's art.
I think the slaev in the magic mirror picture just looks a little fake to me in a way I don't like, but I like the ideas of it. I don't knowm it could be better. But the Beauty and the Beast one works so well for me, and did they even put some "old painting" effect on it? It looks like there is from her dress, but it could just be the way her dress is.
I think the Zac and Vanessa Sleeping Beauty picture is actually good, and I'm okay with them doing characters they've done before because I wouldn't mind seeing Cinderella or other characters again. I do however not like Vanessa's costume. I'm okay with artfully changing it, like Belle's costume, but hers hardly looks even remotely close to Aurora's. I actually like the goldish color it was before they changed it to pink, but that wouldn't be correct either.
My goodness, we need Maleficent by now, don't we?! How cool would that be?

I really don't care for the Queen Latifah one....it just looks rather awful to me, especially if you compare it to the better ones such as the Evil Queen and the Magic Mirror.

Beautiful pictures! Much, much better than several of the other in this Disney Parks-series.
But why did they use Bridges as prince Adam? He is an awesome actor, but I find it awkward that he is posing as the prince alongside a much younger Belle.

Thanks for the link! Olivia Wilde as the Evil Queen (best of the three) is now my wallpaper. Olivia Wilde does make a pretty good Evil Queen! Not so sure about Alec Baldwin, but you don't really notice him as much.
disneyprincess11, I don't like Zach as Prince Phillip either. But I think the picture is based on a painting of Sleeping Beauty I saw online instead of on the movie. I'll try to find it.
EDIT: Found it. So, the colors aren't the same, but the pose and the roses are more similar.
About the Zach and Vanessa one, I'm just glad he's not kissing her on the lips. That would be even grosser.

This is the Disney Dream portraits, so Annie Leibovitze should be basing them more on the Disney versions than other versions. But, the only thing from that picture that looks like it was used in the photo is the background. And Eyvind Earle did paint brambles with flowers for some Disney Sleeping beauty art. But still, it should look more like the Disney movie.

I know it should be based on the Disney movie, but to me it looks like it's more based on this painting than the movie. I do like the Zac and Vanessa pic, because it's very sumptuous, although Zac looks very overstyled and generally creepy. And Vanessa's dress is gorgeous, even if it is nothing like Aurora's. Was Aurora's dress blue when she was asleep?

That video was so neat! I wouldn't have guessed they actually put real fire behind the magic mirror! However, I did learn they built a real octopus body for Queen Latifah's Ursula photos! Though they changed it a little in the final photo to make it look more like it was moving and real, I guess.
Linden wrote:Was Aurora's dress blue when she was asleep?
Yes, it was blue, but I don't mind it pink at all because it is still following the film more than that painting!
