Y'all have my applause. Hey, I even agree with the person who originally said that Ariel is like the Britney (of the Disney princesses, at least) in so far as fame goes.
I actually feel dirty from mentioning him. I made the joke because it was appropriate, especially with all the Britney Spears comparisons, but the idea of Britney and Chris being compared to Ariel...I die a little every time I think about it

.
Ariel's pure, enchanting and beautiful. Britney and Chris...not so much.

Well, Prudence, what I think Ariel'sprince meant, and what is true, is today's little girls tend to like certain Disney movies because they're part of the Disney Princess franchise, and they just like the dresses and looks of the princesses (though I'm guilty of liking the movies for their looks as well, hey, what distinguishes them is their art and designs!). It is the fault of Disney's overzealous marketing of the Disney Princesses as individuality-stripped merchandise decorators. Cinderella's DVD web site said "Staring one of your favorite Disney Princesses!", which says a lot considering Cinderella came from that film in the first place.

Exactly,I"m glad you agree

when they see Ariel they think it's "The Little Mermaid who play dress up the whole day with her fishes",not Ariel, the mermaid who wanted to be a human.
Well, you like their look because of their desgin and animation, not because of their dresses or they're pretty Princesses that appear everywhere.
Yeah,I saw that title on the Cinderella PE website and also about Ariel in the Little Mermaid PE and Little Mermaid Broadway Musical website it's like "Ariel\Cinderella is so popular that after her merchandise she gets her own movie!",it's pretty silly, they also worte on the Pocahontas DVD page that it's "Staring the bravest Disney Princess",I wonder if they"ll wirte something like this about Aurora in the Sleeping Beauty PE website.

I don't know... It's certainly dark, and I guess is in the vein of the Cindy 3 cover.... But... It's good... I don't know what to think.....
Ariel looks cute, she resembles Tink, but actually, I think she looks more on-model than Cinderella did on Cindy 3. And should Marina Del Ray have seashells? Doesn't she have that upper body cover. The sisters looked great. I knew they'd be on the cover! Flounder is in his usual clipart position and Sebastian may be slightly too large. Triton should be larger though.
Anyway, it's defintley made to resemble the TLM Platinum cover, but it also resembles Cindy 3's cover. All in all, I would say it pretty on-model.

I like the colour scheme of the cover...

I think it looks fine, though it definitely wouldn't look worse if tweaked a little. The only real complaints I have are Triton and Ariel. Triton looks really weird whereas Ariel, while slightly chubby (baby fat, I guess), is passable.

I like everything on it, other than Ariel. Something is wrong with her face....

Her face looks like she swam headlong into a whale. Her nose is pushed in and her cheeks stick out too much. WTF?

I like this cover art!
Ariel's face is weird but I love the colors featured so I like it overall!

Yup, this is wonderful colour art! I love it; themeing, colours, clip art. Everything! And at least we are seeing some new clips arts as well, whereas on Cindy III, it was an old, constantly used image of her.
There is a sense of mystery about it, and I'm glad that Ariel is the main focus as well. On-model as well

. And also, its the first Ariel cover / poster where I've actually felt she is actually under the sea, in a wonderful enchanted place.
I only think Sebastian should be slightly smaller. And how about having the image of Ariel's mother faded into the background, like a ghostly presence over Ariel and her sisters ? Also, 'The Little Mermaid' part of the logo should be bigger.
