No talk about the greatest episode of the season eh? They finally brought Shawn back. And Amy and Alan. The series has at times struggled to find the right tone but this episode was very on point, not a moment wasted. Even Josh was likable as the cool uncle.

Its also been announced that Shawn will return next season, along with Feeny and Eric. And Plays With squirrels.

Are they returning for regular appearances, or just more guest appearances?

I wish they'd have a marathon so I could catch up on this; I kind of ignore the Disney channel and forget about this.

Not really sure. The writers said that Shawn, Eric, and Mr Feeny will be an important part of Season 2.

From the writers.
Now that we have introduced you to our girl's world, both worlds will merge more often.
So I'm thinking recurring, but probably not as often as we'd like.

Edit: Will Friedle confirmed as recurring.

They also teased an important set change next season. Whatever that could mean.

I don't think this is the last we'll see of Shawn this season, though. I remember reading a while ago that Jacobs wanted to do at least one more ep with him in the first season, to give an idea of what happened to him and Angela.

That was a great one, though! Just like Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong hasn't lost an ounce of what it took to play Shawn. He fit in like a glove, even with the girls! I can't wait to see him more regularly in the show.

Which is pretty good, all things considered. This is about on par with the first season of Boy Meets World, which was enjoyable but not really the show most fans fell in love with yet. I can take or leave the boys, but I think that Riley and Maya's chemistry is great, while I just love seeing Cory and Topanga still in love. I don't feel shame in admitting that I enjoy the show.

Shawn does appear in at least one more episode this season, yes. I'd imagine it would be the one after this one (I think their done for the year unless I'm mistaken). They probably will want to show what happens on their little trip, right?

I believe he also has a role in the finale.

Girl Meets World has just introduced it's most unique modern issue of today's world to date

Here's spoilers of what they brought up and discussed. This is a milestone for Disney Channel to have brought this up. I do know, that many people can get behind what the show brought up, and that I have it, and many others on this board I know for a fact deal with this issue. The issue they brought up, I have been dealing with what is brought up for about 18 years this December. It has really set the bar for just wow of a topic they brought up I've put what they brought up and talked about in spoilers. But trust me, you are going to want to watch it. I do know now, I wont' be looking at it as just a tween show anymore

It is none other than Asperger Syndrome. Yes, Disney Channel, just brought up and heavily talked about Asperger Syndrome on Girl Meets World.

The episode of it is called Girl Meets Fackle. Go on Amazon Instant Video and you can buy it for just $2.

Just watch it.

I love that they made a lasting change to tone Farkle down some. Its subtle but noticeable. I wish he was like this from the start. He's much less annoying now. If any of you were turned off from the show because of him, give it another shot he's different now.

As a long-time sufferer of this disorder (although I did not actually learn that I had it until about six years ago), I was surprised and overwhelmed that Disney Channel had the guts to tackle a storyline like that. Kudos to everyone on the GMW staff for their work.

Okay spoliers for the latest episode of Girl Meets World titled Girl Meets Belief
This is probably the most far out topic I've seen this show talk about and it's getting better and better

Well looks like Farkle, Riley, Maya and Lucas are paired up for a group project on believe. There's many nuggets of God, prayer and Christianity religion Also that it should be a personal choice and listen to what others have to say and let them decided for themselves of what to believe.

and now I can go back to my life, not caring what is on Disney Channel anymore, because everything else (perhaps aside from Milo Murphy's Law) is crap.

Well, we're not out of the water yet, but it is a good sign. I do hope it finds a new home. I know a lot of bmw fans just want it to die at this point, but I really think it could mature more without Disney channel breathing down their neck.

Yeah, I agree. I honestly felt that eventually, it woudl leave Disney Channel to a new home, only to progress the story in a more mature way, as opposed to Disney Channel, whom must shove Lab Rats and other crap down kids throats.

I think the whole thing should have been on ABC to begin with...but it sounds like maybe it was still pretty good on Disney Channel?

Season 3 took a nose dive in quality compared to the other two in my opinion. It was never unwatchable but they really dragged that love triangle out too far only for it to have no real consequence when it ended. Plus they kinda stopped bringing in characters from the original which I'm not a fan of. And I wish they had more episodes that lead into another rather than trying to tie everything up at the end of every episode.

The finale leaked the other day so I was able to watch that. Even though it mirrored the Boy finale a little too much, there was a lot to like about it too. I got the impression they were trying to tell us this isn't really the end at all, that this was more of an intermission to the show, not a series finale.

Michael Jacobs also said in an interview recently that should the show come back on another network there might be a time jump forward a few years. That should be interesting.

I'll be honest that I haven't kept up with the series; I planned to come back after a few years and watch it all in one sitting.

But I'll say most of the first season I watched did have the feeling of BMW's early years--which I never cared for either. Maybe aging up the characters will give us something in-line with the later BMW years that I actually enjoyed.

I see. Well, here's to hoping the show gets better - in ratings, and perhaps in feeling and quality, and perhaps on another station.
