I saw Rex in the Disney store.

I don't even have a Disney Store in my area or else I'd check, they all closed when they went on that closing spree. I do have an outlet store, but they tend to only get the left overs.

anyway, got my RC and soldiers. they look great. still dont like the idea of the 5th wheel, but at least it looks good.

Yeah I've never seen Rex outside of the Disney Store.

Congrats on getting the Soldiers and RC! Is the CoA and text on the bucket for the Soldiers bi-lingual or is it just in English?

Interesting. Mine is bi-lingual, which I got at the Disney Store. Rex is also bi-lingual. All the others I have are in just english though. Maybe it's a Disney Store thing.

What kind of camera do you have? I hope to get one next year, and those pics are gorgeous!

My camera is a Canon Powershot A650 IS. Though it's not really important, lighting and composition is key. Avoid flash at all costs. Use manual focus if it's having trouble. And I like to light things from the side to get that specular highlight, gives it more depth. Move your light sources to get a variety of effects.

It also helps to know Photoshop well. Most of my pics are enhanced in some way with it, usually pretty subtle stuff though.

Chances are your camera is fine, just gotta learn to use it better, but if your looking for a camera you can't really go wrong with the canon powershot series.

Thanks. I actually don't own a camera, so that's why I asked. I don't really know what to buy. What is the general price tag on yours? The price range for cameras is so wide right now and I don't really know where to choose from.

Its been so long, I cant really remember. I believe it was something like... 250? its a discontinued model, but I picked it because it was the only one with a flip out screen (for self portraits) that had a great zoom (6Xs) and this high of megapixels (12.1).

the type of camera you buy depends a lot on how portable your going to want it to be. this thing isn't as big as an SLR (those are the highest quality cameras out there, for professional photographers who do it for a living) but it is a bit bulky compared to many point and shoot cameras for casual picture taking. Your probably not going to be taking this to hang outs or whatever, then again most people just use camera phones for that these days.

mine's probably the best you can do without stepping up to an SLR. at least it was a few years back when it first released, there are probably better ones out by now. one thing I think is a must, for beginners especially is image stabalization (hence the IS in the name of my model). if you have any decent amount of zoom its nearly impossible to take shots without camera shake. At the time IS on lower end cameras weren't too common, but I think its more standard these days. just look for the IS.
The rest is up to to how much you want to spend, and how much you think you'll use it.

Check reviews, for beginners its a good idea to make sure the automatic modes work well at picking the best settings by itself. a good autofocus is ideal. Then once you feel more comfortable you'll want more freedom and experiment with the other ones, and that's when you'll start getting better, learn about f-stops, aperture settings and shutter speeds. things that you'll want to learn for getting good shots in low light without flash.

Well, please ignore the poor quality of grainy little pics taken with camcorders, as here are two images I just took of my Toy Story collection thus far, sitting atop my complete Disney Treasures DVD tin collection.

Ok what the heck!!! Look at this it's Jessie and it has to be the Toy Story Collection one, but why is Thinkway Toys being so uniformational and careless??? First we see Mr. Potato Head and then we don't, now he's on Target.com but not available. Theres Jessie in the commercial but no Mr. Potato Head and who else is supposed to be made we've seen a Hamm but heard nothing about him!! If Jessie is not coming out until next year then why is she in the commercial and does that mean that there will be other waves before hers. Or do we really have to wait that long for the next wave?? I mean damn, could we get a line up with release dates or something!!!! I'm sorry if I seem rude but I am so anxious for these toys I need to have some sort of understanding!!! Not these mixed match hints and lies!!!

If you think this is bad, it's nothing compared to how Mattel strung fans of the Dark Knight Movie Masters figure collection out, awaiting new figures that never came for... sheesh, maybe it's been a year now? We are still waiting, and now they are going to be website exclusives if we get them at all... And yeah, we saw the prototypes for them A LONG time back.

It is pretty frustrating the way they do release info and stuff, but really as long as they get released in the end it's not that big a deal.

Oh, and nice pics, slave2moonlight. When are Jessie and Bullseye from? And it's very cool seeing someone else with the Burger King Lenny hehe.

Exactly. What sucks is when they never do get released, or they make them really hard to get or take years or something. Anyway, thanks. Jessie was one of the first ones released. I forget where I bought her, probably Target or K.B. Toys, but she is the only talking one that had real yarn hair. As for Bullseye, he's the original Disney Store one. Not 100 percent accurate (I think, among other things, he should have plastic hooves), but I remember being really impressed with the material used for his body (had an accurate looking texture) and he has a neat poseable quality (there's some kind of skeletal system in there).

the eyes are still innacurate here, along with a mess of other things, but they should have stuck with that mouth.
