I've watched the Harry and Firebolt scene a million times. I love that scene so much, but I clearly remember (when I would listen to the soundtrack and picture it in my head) that Harry dodges a pendulum. Also, I remember Angelina climbing onto the fountain with the birds clawing on a snake that is only in front of the Clock Tower.

The scene with Double Trouble playing, you can clearly see an entrance hall.

I'd love the courtyard if it weren't for there already being one.

Sorry, I thought Ben-Hur was something in Star Wars. Thus I assumed it was the track I downloaded from Star Wars because someone said it had the same beat and notes as the chase in Chamber of Secrets. I've always wanted that track, but Williams left it out on the soundtrack. Thus I reverted to the track from Star Wars.

The only reason I want Quidditch in Deathly Hallows is for Williams to use the theme again. Hooper don't mess this up. I was hoping the First Task in GOF (sort of Quidditch-y) would be good, but unfortunately it was outright terrible. *Shakes head at Doyle*

Oh! But imagine if Williams uses the theme for the Dragon scene at Gringotts!

By the way, do the trio's muggle clothes bother anyone? I mean, I really wish they would wear their robes when they go on their adventures.

Yes the muggle clothes bother me too. Especially Harry's cause they always fit so nicely when all of his muggle clothing supposedly comes from Dudley.

And I'm pretty sure I remember a point in the books where Snape takes away points from Harry and Ron for wearing muggle clothing on school grounds... of course this could just be Snape being an asshat, but still...

As for the Muggle clothes, they've never bothered me. The only time Harry's clothes being hand-me-down, let alone shown at all, is in that deleted scene in SS with Aunt Petunia. The rest of the time, they make the connection between the Wizarding World and reality seems only stronger. Everything else is still magical, and the school clothes are still seen.

You're right; I stand corrected on the PoA ending. I'm still confused, though. I said that the additions like the Owlery and clock tower don't bother me because Newell and Yates have stuck to the changes Cuaron made. That's when you brought up that the entrance hall was changed, making me think Newell and Yates altered something. Are you talking about how the non-clock tower courtyard (where Trelawney gets sacked)...

If so, then you're right: it IS a post-Cuaron change since he still had the SS/CoS standard-sized doors there in PoA...



It looks like Newell may have been the one responsible for the change since you can see the courtyard (and wider doorway) in GoF...

They don't bother me because Rowling frequently describes jeans and t-shirts throughout the series. If you pay close attention to her descriptions, the children spend more time in muggle clothing than uniforms, since so many scenes take place inbetween classes. People find it jarring in the movies for two reasons. First, because Chris Columbus had the kids in uniform even when they weren't in class. In fact, they only ever in Muggle clothing when they're in their dorms. Second, when they DID wear Muggle clothing, it was very timeless: khakis, knit sweaters, plaid skirts, etc. Cuaron introduced the idea of them getting out of uniform when out of class, and when that did happen, it was more modern clothing (jeans, hoodies, t-shirts, etc.).

I know these are a lot of pics, but there were more than 100. I at least wanted a couple for each scene.

Also, it might not be HBP-related, but it is Harry Potter, and I don't know if there is already a Deathly Hollows thread, yet, so forgive me if there is.

These are kinda interesting to look at, at least.

The ones of Harry in the forest are more than likely from the silver doe sequence. The ones with Harry and Ron in ties and Hermione in the red dress are definitely when the trio apparate from the wedding to Tottenham Court Road. The pics of them in more casual clothing is probably when they change into the outfits Hermione stashed away for them so as not to arouse suspicion (they have the same scratches on their faces in both sets). Speaking of which, it looks like the sabotage of the wedding will be a big action sequence if the trio's going to escape with injuries.

Yeah, I just read a mugglenet post today saying he hasn't filmed the actual Forest yet. I'll change that.

The other scenes were much easier to get. They're also preparing to shoot Shell Cottage next month, and Emma is hoping to have all her scenes done by sept(though not at all likely).

I love all this talk about Hogwarts' architecture.

The music from the official site of Harry Potter is the same tune and arrangement of instruments (with extra strings.) But, the second half of the song is not Williams' original theme...I still love it though!

Isn't it weird we're getting so many filming images? Maybe it's because by now the 6th movie should be done and over and it would feel normal had it passed, these pictures we're getting would be correct timing.

I didn't even post them all. There are far too many, and most show the same thing in 5 or 6 shots.

I am excited to see this movie, I was disappointed when they delayed the release of the movie. I am probably going to see this with my brother when it comes out. I hope that this movie is more faithful to the book than some of the other movies have been.

Though not too faithful. That's what most people criticized Columbus' films for.

I don't criticize Columbus' films for being too faithful, just kinda stodgy. Chris Columbus isn't an exceptionally talented director, just a competent one, and he lacks the ability to really add anything more to a movie that what you get from the screenplay. Part of the reason I like "Prisoner of Azkaban" so much (despite what was cut) is Cuaron's visual and directoral style was really exciting after two Columbus-helmed pics. I admire Columbus for his devotion to the sources, but it seemed like he was doing it at the expense of anything else.

I hope this film will be better than Order of the Phoenix, which was ironically the shortest film adaptation of the longest book in the series.
