I finally saw Brother Bear earlier tonight. I can't believe I waited so long to see it. I really enjoyed it.

Last I watched was Mulan but I'm thinking of watching one today while I straightened up my room. Not sure which one yet.

It was Disney night at our Home Theater last night, we popped a big bowl of popcorn, and made up a plate of veggies and sat down comfortably and watched:
All on DVD:
Old Yeller
Savage Sam the sequel to Old Yeller
Song of the South Import DVD from Europe
Man of the House the Chevy Chase version
and last, but not least, The Black Hole
All in all, it was a great night of movies and today, I am getting ready to go back to work after two days off.

I saw two Disney movies in the last 24 hours!
Mary Poppins: This was actually the first time I saw it and I loved it!
It was simply entertaining from start to finnish. The only thing that bothered me was Dick Van Dyke's character.Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Dick Van Dyke, but Bert kinda got on my nerves. Probably because of his accentbut towards the end of the flim I started to like him. I guess I got used to him
.Other than it going on to long, I really enjoyed it. I can see myself watching it over and over again.
Dumbo: Rented it on Netflex a while back and I didn't get around watching it until today. I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Mary Poppins but I still liked it. My favorite part of the movie was the
Pink Elephants scene and the Crows.

Toy Story. I watched the movie and I love it. I liked how Sid got scared when Woody talked to him and told him to be nice. I'm going to watch the special features tomorrow.

Couldn't sleep so I watched Mulan. Great movie.

Watched Pocahontas the other night. I really didn't like it when I saw it in theaters (maybe because it followed Lion King- nothing could top that in my mind!) but after a few viewings on DVD it really is growing on me The music is wonderful!![/b]

I rented "Big Red" from the library and watched it for the first time (although my mom may have taken me to see it when I was a little kid... I don't know.).
I enjoyed the film, and may buy it in the future.

I just watched Alice in Wonderland for the first time in longer than I can remember. I didn't realize how much I had forgotten (I didn't even know there was a king...)
What a weird movie. There are some really fun parts, but also some parts that just draaaaaaaaaaaaaag.

I saw Toy Story:10th anniversary. Really looks great and what a terrific movie. I love that line, "I may not be a smart dog, but I know what roadkill is." One of the best lines in a Disney movie in my humble opinion.

The Lion King 2:
Wasn't even bad.
It is a good movie but it needed more time spent on it.
The quality of the animation is very good... but there are times when the colors look "fllat and plastic like" .
It had a couple of good songs, but I found the Upendi song/sequence out of place.
As mentioned, there are a couple of things that needed more time/better direction to actually feel emotional.
.... and yeah; the second DVD is a complete waste.

They should have stayed with the original Limited Issue cover to actually look that it fits with the rest of the "trilogy". All the colors are pastel ones when the original was red/orange (alongside with the rest).

I watched Beauty and the Beast last night. It's a great movie but I still wonder why I didn't catch its magic that time exept in Beauty and the Beast -sequence.
I think that Platinum Edition's picture quality is too sharp and they messed up the colors so they seem to be too bright with less mysterious emotion compared the old VHS-version. But the music is always so wonderful in it.
