Marky, perhaps you didn't read my post. I loved seeing the differences between the old and new version of BatB. Thanks for posting it, actually. As I said, it really showed off how many mistakes they were able to fix in this new restoration.
I'm not avoiding discussion about the content at all, and really don't understand what you mean by that. However, you can't shift this to be my problem, when you're just upset that I'm the only one paying attention to you (it's like a train wreck... I just can't look away!).
The thing is, it's pointless. We've already had very similar conversations on very similar threads. Please, please, please, please let it rest, Marky!

But yeah, I agree with Flangy. There's no reason for this thread to exist, but it's such fun! I am NOT setting my cup down!
Oh, and has anyone else noticed how oddly this thread is becoming formatted?

"Why having fun!?"

BTW Tim, what's up with epic Marvel-ish Phillip in your avatar?
I found off the designer for the Disney Heroes action figures blog, where he had a couple of concept sketches for the action figure. Makes me think of what Phillip would look like as an action hero. Although I can't come up with any other names than the Black Knight, but he'll always be simply Hot Stud to me.

Btw, I'm loving your snazzy retro Tomorrowland sig, Flangy. And Crow as always is pure awesome.

Prince Phillip is one of my favorite Disney Princes (I mean, he defeats Maleficent for crap's sake!), but I never thought he could look so.... epic! That may be one of the neatest things I have ever seen! Well, OK, that's an exaggeration, but still!!!

I'm not the only one who's formating is thrown off on the last page, with my chicken is infected's post?

It was really disappointing. Ruined my entertainment for a little bit. But this page is working fine- Let the show go on!

Ew, the formatting was definitely gross. Mostly for the lack of one character in the code. Said character has been placed in the proper place. Rejoice, one and all! :P

Oh, Marky, you truly are the lone voice of sanity in a world gone mad. Frank Miller should be writing graphic novels about you.

Sunny Wing wrote:So . . . Scaps, now that I'm taking a closer look, the printing on the popcorn boxes are supposed to be blood-red! Are you blind? Can't you tell that they tampered with the original vision of what a traditional popcorn box is supposed to look like? And the same goes for the Milk Duds, that yellow box is way too bright and makes the product lack dimension. Either of these are only suitable for eating while watching Saturday morning cartoons; I don't care about the quality of the stuff inside or how it might taste, it's packaged all wrong and makes me lose my appetite! Walt would have never approved of such a snack and any true Disney fan should know better.
Yes, the red in the box is wrong. I was in a rush so instead of getting the true Delicious Nutritious boxes, I had to pick up the Delicious Nutritious Special Edition boxes. It's a lighter shade of red because the box designer thought it would appeal more in today's society, as blood-red has a stronger connotation that just isn't appropriate for popcorn. But the Milk Duds, I don't see how you think the yellow is too bright! I got it direct from the source: Hershey, Pennsylvania! And of course it has dimension, just look at the thing! Just LOOK AT IT! Maybe you need to get your eyes checked. ;)
Sigh . . . see what happens whenever you pick up the special edition of something? *tisk tisk* The colors are wrong, all wrong. Walt would be rolling in his grave if he knew we were eating out of such . . . what's the word I'm looking for . . . tarnished snack containers while watching the DAC's.

And as for the Milk Duds, I AM looking at it! I'll have you know I'm related to the Hershey family (true story!) so I should be an unquestionable expert on this matter. Are you sure you didn't pick up some Goodtimes candy disguised as Hershey's? I know a lot of well-meaning grandparents make that mistake . . .

How are you related to Hershey?

And the action figure looks cool. Jarringly different, but cool.

And I think we've seen a necessary amount of Marky's posts to justify saying this:

Don't Feed the Troll.

I'm not fully sure, but my dad used to tell me that we were somehow related to the Hersheys on his father's side. I really need to research my family tree one of these days. :)

This is really exciting.
Disney just released a new picture to show the world what the Diamond Edition is going to look like!

The filmmakers finally realized what their intention was, and are glad that they had the chance to do it now.

They also want to thank certain UD forum members for kissing their behinds, and swallowing everything they are given.
They were a bit surprised that so many people did not care about the changes, in fact, they love them!!!!

This, once again, proves how much people loved the original, so because of this reactions Disney decided to definitely continue this!!

Everyone happy.

You forgot to mention the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus re-recording all the songs Marky.

Oh and despite what you may think, not everybody here "loves" the original. I dunno, some people may find the original unfunny, full of racial stereotyping, full of logic flaws and overtly juvenile. Just a heads up.

...Marky, you stole that picture from another thread. Someone else on the forum, though I can't remember who, colored that. At least give them credit. Criminy.

Let's pool our junk food together and create a wall mural of Beast and Belle having a snowball fight. *pops more popcorn for the 'snow'* The Milk Duds can be used for Belle's hair. Maybe use chocolate Necco wafers for the Beast's light brown hair.

Products so good, images of them will be carefully and tastefully inserted into the movie so as not to disturb your viewing experience, yet will be visible enough to subliminally urge you to visit your theater's concession stand or local snack retailer. :)

My apologies to Kyle.

 Epic win!
If someone actually did it, I think that would be deserving of a few pink elephants, at least.

Marky wrote:You can't handle to hear anything about a film that you don't like to hear.
Listen to yourself, Marky. Because you just described yourself right htere.
Marky wrote:So it's an ego issue?
For you, yes, it's an ego issue. For you everything is an ego issue. Not for me. My ego is fine, because I know there are more important things in life than whether or not Beauty and the Beast is presented one way or another on home video. And honestly, the whole argument about "original version" versus "filmmakers' intentions" was done in other threads, you already know mine and other peoples' opinions. You're the one that keeps harping on hoping that enough new people who don't know your UD history will actually listen. You really are "that guy", just as goofystitch said you would be.

I personally don't see a point in participating *seriously* in a thread that from the very first post is biased and one-sided, which is exactly what this thread and all of your posts are. You refuse to see or try to understand anyone else's opinion on the matter because you're so blinded by what you believe is right. I bet if Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale started a UD account just to post their thoughts and tell you that you in fact, are wrong about certain things, you still wouldn't believe them.
That Guy wrote:The filmmakers finally realized what their intention was, and are glad that they had the chance to do it now.

They also want to thank certain UD forum members
You're welcome, Wise & Trousdale! Keep making films the way you want to, not the way the so-called "fans" tell you to! You have that right, never ever forget it! Don't let people like Marky influence you. That way leads only to pleasing everyone but yourself. It's like the messed up river from "Just around the River Bend" in Pocahontas. Don't marry Kocoum. All your dreaming's at an end if you go that way.
