That memorial was just amazing! He has touched so many lives. The performances were awesome. The saddest part was when his daughter spoke. Those kids are really beautiful. The media should just leave them alone.

And for those who keep complaining about the coverage he has been getting for the past fortnight, get over it! I don't seem to remember anyone complaining when Heath ledger, Anna Nicole Smith, James Brown, and Princess Diana all died. Why complain about MJ? (Not refering to anyone here in particular, just people in general).

After Reading this I could not agree more with everything you've just said, especially the part with all the MJ media coverage. He's one of the greats and people aren't going to get over him in the click of a finger so there's no surprise the extent of the coverage on him at the moment.

I was thrown off by Paris' emotional speech, she did her very best speakin to a full house of her father's fans. The memorial was respectful and quite movin to watch. Hearin the lil stories bout Michael made me feel alil happy that he had a good heart when it came to reality.

And seein all 4 of the Jackson Bros wearin the white glove and sunglasses was very tributing to the "King". At first I thought they wore the gloves to help bring the casket (which was beautiful) down to the center, but I recalled that they were respectin their lil "King".

I'll always remember this memorial for years to come and I'll remember Michael's greatest musical legacy.

Just saw pictures of his kids and there is no way on earth those kids are his(naturally). I believe the true parents are the ones that raised you not the ones that conceived you so in that respect he is their true father but no way on earth there is any resemblance there.

It's a bit like adoption really, in the sense that even though genetically they're not yours, you've still raised them and been a guardian to them. Just look and Angelina, she may not be Maddox's biological mother but she still is his mother.

I absolutely agree with you. I was just under the impression that he was claiming they were his biologically all along. I have never seen pictures of them before today. The only exception is maybe the youngest son is his biologically. Does not really matter as long as he loved them, which it appears he did by his daughters comments today. It was just striking beside his aunts and uncles how different they looked, not only in color but there is just no resemblance on any level.

Anyhoo, back on topic, I loved the memorial service. I had my fears that it'd turn into some bullshit tabloid circus mess, but it was VERY tastefully done. And I just about lost it when Paris Katherine spoke.

I'm pleased that the memorial wasn't a frenzy like everybody made it sound like......The police were alil worried too but eased up when the whole morn ran smooth and calm......

I also agree bout Paris' speech, she spoke out of love/respect/humble bout her father's family life. The family was so supportive of her. The aftermath was tremendously well handled.

Firstly, I was really young when Princess Diana died. Also, I think somenoe of her status as royalty would deserve a lot of coverage. *shrugs*

Anyways, get over it? If I wanted to I could turn around and tell everyone to just get over his death. But I don't, nor do I think you should really say the same. Some of us are annoyed about the fact people are being hypocritical, re-read Sirens post where she summed it up rather well.

Those of us who have annoyances about the whole thing are perfectly allowed to voice our opinions about the matter, regardless of who it is. Why MJ? Perhaps because he's the one that's recently died and all the hooplah is about.

Just to clarify, my statement was NOT directed at anyone here! I mean all the Facebook crap and such....Those Michael Jackson clubs have been on Facebook for a long time....NOW suddenly people realize they want to be in that fan club. If they were that big of fans they would have been in there from the beginning.

Its like he's dead and now people are saying they love him, because all the cool kids are doing it.

I watched bits and pieces of his memorial and it was very sad. But very well done. It was not a media circus. It was respectful and beautiful. His daughter Paris made me cry. That has to be the saddest statement from a child since Bindi Irwin talked about losing her dad, Steve.

At the end of the day....no matter whether you think he is innocent of all crimes or guilty of all crimes....with or without all the hooplah...
He was still a pop icon that inspired 100s of other song writers, singers and dancers.
He was still a son. And no parent should outlive their child. Especially being he was one of the youngest children.
And he was a father. People can chastise him how they want, in the short time Paris was on stage, it was very evident to me, as a mother, he really loved his children and cared for them like ANY other father does.

And we lost all that forever. There will be millions of boy bands and pop princesses....but there will always be only one King of Pop.

He raised them, he clothed and fed them everyday - they OBVIOUSLY loved him with all their hearts, they are his kids.

What is it of your concern if they are his biological kids or not?

In all truth....my daughter looks NOTHING like her father. Not ONE BIT. She looks full blooded Puerto Rican. Brown hair, dark skin, brown eyes, her nose, mouth, chin, and cheeks are totally my side. Her father was English and German, very white, with hazel eyes and very light skin.

My friends comment how they don't believe she has a father. That I must have had her cloned.

And on the other end of the spectrum. On my father's side, the Puerto Rican side, he has a niece who looks nothing like their side. My uncle and aunt are full blooded Puerto Rican, all dark features. When their daughter was born, she was blonde, blue eyes, and white. My uncle threatened divorce thinking his wife cheated on him. Turns out, many generations ago, a white woman married into the family...it took several generations for that to show. People often think she is adopted.

So as much as Micheal's kids may not look 100% his side...let's remember, they are technically not 100% black anyways.

Whoa, I was not talking about anyone on here, just people in general. We all have our own opinions, but to openly say "why should we care about a child molestor?" or "This coverage is getting annoying and I'm tired of it" (no one said these on here, but others have on facebook, tv, etc) is just wrong and disrespectful. Why wouldn't anyone expect this much coverage? When a big celeb die, especially a tragic death, the media is going to be all over that. Jackson's death will still be talked about long after we're all gone. I would be saying the same thing if Madonna, Obama, Bush, Britney, Oprah, etc died and people were complaing about the coverage.

As for the molestation charges, he was proven innocent and lets just leave it at that. Only God, Michael, and his accusers know what really happened. Let me just say this: As for the first accusation, why would you take a settlement? If I was a parent and my child was molested, I would not take a settlement no matter what. It just looks stupid on the parent's part. Why not take it all the way to court to prove you're telling the truth? In the end, they still would have gotten something, maybe not money but justice at least. After the first accusation, why would any parent take their child to MJ's home and have them sleep over? It just doesn't make sense. Even if MJ invited the family of the second accuser, why would you let your kid sleep over in his house knowing the guy has a history. I'm just saying...

As for the biological situation, I mean we all had an inkling they weren't his, so why is it an issue now? They should just leave those kids alone. Their father was all they knew and now he is gone. Not having a father to walk you down the aisle, play sports with you, protect you, and nurture you is a very big deal. These kids have no mother either. Why would anyone sign away their rights as a parent just for 4 or 5 million dollars? His kids are so beautiful and who cares if they aren't biologically his? Madonna, Angelina, and a bunch of other people adopt kids from all over the world. Why is it a big deal when MJ does it?

Just that they have been passed off as his biological kids. It really does not matter, in fact I think more of people who do adopt. Whether or not they are his biologically or not they are still his kids, I completely agree with you.

I dunno... I've had my doubts about the biological claim, but after today I don't. Paris looks a lot like her mother, and I saw a bit of Michael in Prince Michael I. Blanket looks a lot like Jackson. Skin color isn't a defining factor (and all three kids have a little black in them for sure).

Remember this is the first time we've ever really seen a clear shot of them all.

And them not looking like their extended family is understandable. Remember, Michael wasn't the only Jackson to have cosmetic procedures.

But regardless of biological status, Michael's fatherhood of the children can't be doubted at this point, nor can his love for them. Paris' speech moved me to tears when I saw it live, and every time it was replayed on news programs.

Yeah skin color isn't exactly something to go by, I'm half black and I'm pretty white.

That's kind of weird though, since the dark traits are supposed to be the most dominant.

I saw the memorial on CNN, and I felt really sorry for his kids especially Paris, I honestly think that they should hand her to Debbie Rowe instead of Dianna Ross.

BTW people are convinced that they have seen MJ's ghost at Neverland ranch during Larry King Live, here's the article and clip, it's quite scary.

IMO I honestly think that's MJ's ghost because that shadow isn't reflected on the wall way over there, it's walking by it's self in the middle of the room.

I would just like to say that I definitely complained when Anna Nicole Smith died. I genuinely enjoyed her reality show and it seemed like she was really trying to get her act together towards the end, especially after the birth of her daughter and the death of her son. I think she was smarter than she let on, she just wasn't surrounded by the best people.
