Thanks, I do to.

Well I just finished watching the bonus features and while I liked them I wish there was more. I'm not sure what but it seems like somethings missing. I'm afraid every year we will have less and less. I want a comentary and more featurettes that don't just recap what happened. I want juicy stuff like LOST has.

That is why I record to DVD and keep all those so-called re-cap episodes they show during the season. There are always alternate scenes and little hints about something happening that the DVD release never seems to capture. And someone once said on these boards, that those re-cap episodes would just be on the DVD Release was 'so wrong'. The special features are getting skimpier and skimpier. Geesh, there aren't even any extended episodes on this set like there was on the first and second season sets.

That's why I am glad that I record all the episodes to DVD each week whether or not they are recaps or a new episode for reasons such as this. Also the bonus disc from Circuit City adds a little, not a lot, of back story on the villains of Wisteria Lane.

SitcomsOnline.com has posted their mini-review of Brothers and Sisters: The Complete First Season. You can read the mini-review, here:

The bonus features sound great, and are much more substantial than the bonus features for Desperate Housewives: The Complete Third Season. It's a shame that Buena Vista is giving DH fans the shaft on bonus features! Shame on them.

Anyway, they reveal that the un-aired episode is NOT the original pilot, rather, what was supposed to be the second episode of the series. They state that it is very different from the rest of the episodes. I can't wait to see it!

They rank the set as a 5 out of 5 stars! I'm really looking forward to picking up this set in a little over a couple of weeks!

It appears that Target will have an exclusive bonus disc for the release of Brothers and Sisters: The Complete First Season. It will feature the Brothers & Sisters cast having a Q & A in the Museum of Television & Radio. However, their price is $39.99.

I'm hoping that Best Buy will have a bonus disc. At any rate, I'll be buying my copy at Best Buy. I am sure that Best Buy will have a lower price. If Circuit City ends up having the lower price, I'll just take their ad to Best Buy to price match.

Best Buy also has Brothers and Sisters: The Complete First Season at $39.99, with no bonus disc. So, unless Circuit City has a lower advertised price (which I would then price match at Best Buy), I may just end up buying this at Target to get the bonus disc.

Also, DVDTalk.com has posted their review of Brothers and Sisters: The Complete First Season, and they give it a Highly Recommended review!

I've been going back and forth as to whether or not I should start watching this show (mainly because I watch too many TV shows as it is already!). Does anyone have any thoughts about it? Is it worth checking out?

Run, don't walk, and pick up this set!

This is truly a top notch show. It has a stellar cast, excellent writing, and it is one my favorite shows. I can't say enough great things about it. It is one of those shows that you just want to keep watching. It's funny, it's intelligent, and it's heartwarming.

I'm very excited to see where the second season goes. There is a great deal of potential with this show, and I urge anyone who hasn't watched it to give it a try. I think you'll be hooked!

Thanks for the input Rowlf and MM1. I may just check out this show. I love Sally Field and Rachel Griffiths anyway. Not a fan of Calista Flockhart, but it's not enough to prevent from trying to watch the first couple of episodes.

Nor am I, however, she has actually managed to impress me with this show. She's far from the best reason to watch it, but, she doesn't make me dislike it, because of her.

I hope you will enjoy it. However, you'll have to give it more than a couple of episodes. It really takes off during the third-fifth episode, and goes up from there.

Let me know what you think!

That works out good actually. Here in Canada, Disney has a deal until Oct 31/07 you save $25 if you buy 3 or $35 if you buy 4 of either DH: Season 3, UB: Season 1, WAB: Complete Series, GA: Season 3 or B&S: Season 1. So with my recent purchases of GA, WAB and DH, if I buy B&S I'll save $35! Sounds good to me!

I'm not that big of a fan of Ugly Betty so it all works out.
