Well, actually, the first DVD I ever played on my DVD player was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs although it was only a rental. My very first DVD, though, just happened to be Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True. And I wore that baby out, believe me.

Can a DVD wear out? I thought they were like "indestrucible" if you handle them correctly.

No, actually, they can't. I meant that I watched it a whole lot. It was my only DVD for a very long time. Anyway, DVDs can get scratches and all that. My Cindy 2 actually went black and white in a few scences. I'm not sure why because I watched the movie again recently and it was all in color.

My first ever movie (Disney or not) was Pinnochio, and I've had Disney movies ever since I was little. My Disneyland trip in 2005 brought my obsession back, and I've definately bought the DVDs at a faster rate than before. But I've always loved Disney.
My whole Disney DVD collection (incl. Studio Ghibli, Pixar, and short cartoon collection releases):
Aladdin
Aladdin The Return of Jafar
Aladdin and the King of Thieves
Atlantis the Lost Empire
Bambi II
Brother Bear
Castle in the Sky
Cinderella
Cinderella III
Finding Nemo
Funny Factory with Mickey
Funny Factory with Donald
Howl's Moving Castle
The Incredibles
It's A Small World of Fun! Vol. 2
Lady and the Tramp
Lilo and Stitch
Lilo and Stitch 2
Leroy and Stitch
The Little Mermaid
Monters, Inc.
Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers
Phil of the Future: Gadgets & Gizmos
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Robin Hood
Spirited Away
Walt Disney's Classic Cartoon Favourites Starring Mickey
I also have a lot more on VHS, alot of the older ones (Snow White, Pinnochio, etc) and others from the '90s (The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan) and their sequels.

I got A Bug's Life Collector's Edition for Christmas '99. I had rented the standard disc over the summer and loved the movie, so it was a natural desire to own the 2-disc, even with what would now be considered a very high list price ($49.99).

Well, mine was The Rescuers. And it's actually a funny story, 'cos orginal I went for Lilo & Stitch, but I was in doubt when I saw they also had The Rescuers. Then I thought 'Why the Heck not' since it's been ages since I last saw that movie, and today I have 67 Disney film. Classics and Sequels.

I got started in 2006 when The Little Mermaid PE came out. That movie has always been on of my favorites.
