I got my used but like new copy of TENG:CE for around $20 at <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/associates/lin ... zon.com</a> (in case anyone's interested). Better that than $35 at Spin Street. It even came with Atlantis: Search for the Journal PC game (which I have to say was unexpected).

So it's official? We have confirmation that this is all there is?

Wow, this release isn't even trying to be as good as the Collector's Edition. This gets my vote for "most pointless Disney DVD ever". This is the third DVD release of New Groove, even when the older, better ones are still in print. I really don't get Disney's logic here. Why waste time and money making this DVD? Why not just re-release the old DVDs and save the money for a classic that has yet to recieve very good DVD treatment (HunchbackandHerculesandPinnochioandmanyothers)?

I'm praying like hell that Tarzan's new release will not end up like this when the press release comes out.

Yeah, but wasn't it basically confirmed that the Tarzan SE would be 2-discs? It said it on the spine of the coverart and it mentioned it in the fact sheet. That's why I haven't given up hope on this release yet.

Good lord, this DVD is shaping up to be bad. I'll gladly stick with my Collector's Edition. Anyone who was planning on getting this before this fact sheet was released, start having second thoughts because I don't see the press release changing much.

I will get this only because I don't have it on dvd yet

WTF?! Why is it 1 disc! That pisses me off. I already own the 1-disc original edition. I was going to buy it if it was 1 disc. Maybe I'll get the cover, slipcover, inserts from Disney and put them with the 2-disc edition, that I now have to buy

ugh, i can't believe that this is only a 1 disc edition. Disney has really dissapointed me with this one. Maybe i will try to find the CE while i can!

does anyone already confirmed that this is only a single disc version?

does it mean that it would be much better to get the CE rather than getting this New Groove? I know that the only thing new about this issue the trailer for the Kronk's. any other thing to expect to this New Groove edition?

is it worth to buy the CE for C$45?

you're correct but plus taxes it will come up to at least $45. is it worth it?

i don't know if the New Groove is 2-disc version. i'd rather wait til that one comes out.

<u>Language</u>: English audio, French audio

Howdy!

How come this special edition isn't getting a Spanish track? I mean, this movie is from Peru, a Spanish speaking country, and I live in Texas, so why is Disney not putting a Spanish language option on this re-release? (Heck, why did Disney not even bother with Spanish audio constantly this year?) I'm actually an American, BTW, so if anyone notices the multiple posts about me watching movies in Spanish, that's because where I live (the Lone Star State, of course), Spanish is like a second language, much like French is a second language for Quebec.

A note on Emperor's New Groove (The Ultimate Groove 2-Disc Collector's Edition) if you are interested in getting this version, get it now because it is being discontinued.

You can say that again!

Maybe if they care more about the spanish track we wouldn´t have to take those crappy new translations that the classics are suffering

This is clearly just a repackaging with a few things tossed out, and a few things added on. The things that are gone won't be missed, and neither will be the things that are put on.

If you like this movie, (WHICH I THINK ROCKS!) then you should buy the Collector's Edition. If you don't have that much money, then buy the new one: the cover looks prettier. If you hate it, then don't buy it.

WHY NOT EMAIL THEM

Okay my question is this.. about the new Tarzan SE dvd and TENG SE dvd not being a 2-disc....Why don't we stop complaining on here and email the disney department. I know some people did when there was talk that the re-release of the Muppet Movies were coming only in Pan&Scan and everyone contacted disney and they quickly within 2 days said that they would put both Pan & Scan and Widescreen available on the discs. Now excuse me while I email my thoughts to Disney Customer service. Below is the link to the e-mail from when i Contacted them about my thoughts on the No widescreen Muppet Movies.
