While the world awaits a seventh episode of Star Wars, scheduled to release theatrically December 2015, Disney finally has something to show for their $4 billion October 2012 purchase of LucasFilm. After cancelling the current animated series in production, the companies recently debuted "Star Wars Rebels". The half-hour series airs Monday nights on Disney XD, but it was launched with Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, an hour-long movie that premiered on Disney Channel and recently came to DVD.
