From Jim Hill Media. Apparently a brand new type of technology Disney and Dolby created will make it's debut this fall with Disney's first CGI effort, Chicken Little.

And this new technology eventually will supposedly pave the way for other CGI films done by Disney and even Disney/Pixar as far as the movie going experience is concerned.

You can jump for joy now.

I'm surprised there was not much discussion about this. I just read the news from Animated Movies Newsletter today and I found it interesting but the press release didn't reveal much. It just went on and on and on about how great the technology was and how groundbreaking and historical it would be and yada yada blah blah...anyhow, now I'm excited even more to see Chicken Little and I'd love to get Chicken Little 3D glasses!

This will rock yes. I'm surprised they're pulling such a move. And besides, the unique look of the film will look awesome in 3-D.

Woo! Now i really can't wait for this one!

I was going to go see Robots in 3-D at the Imax, but didn't get around to it.
