I just bought the new 2 disc edition of Tarzan,
and the trailer for chicken little on it,
says theatres 2006.
So has it been pushed back even more now,
wasen`t it supposed to come out in november.

I'm guessing you've bought a European DVD of Tarzan?

If that is the case, It's highly likely Chicken Little will be released in some European countries in 2006. After all Home on the Range was released in mainland Europe about 4/5 months after North America.

The US release date has not been changed though.

Dear sweet Lord of mercy!!!

We in the UK are not getting Chicken Little until 10th February 2006!!!!

I'm gonna have to go slap someone!!!

This means that the only animated film (big release at least) From September to February is Wallace and Gromit!

I'm going to have to go and hit someone!

:(

OK, not to sound like Mr Preachy here, but for God's sake the film hasn't even been finished yet, It's not been seen or reviewed by anyone, and some of you are already out scavenging in the forest for bricks to weigh the coffin down with!

I personally loved the look of the trailer, I was almost knocked over by the standard of the CGI and I really can't wait. I can understand why they haev put it back, because if they left it for November it would have had a heap of competition. But the US will have the same competition and February? Come on it's like the don't even want to attemp to make this film succeed, now if they had decided on a May or June 2006 release date, I could have seen the point, but February?

Now come on guys can we at least wait until it's released until we start bashing it? This is as Disney forum, how about a little bit of support huh?

Huh?

Any takers?

No?

Fine, I'll just go and support Disney by my self then ;)

I'm with you as well. Seems like there's always some sort of excuse to try and bash them down even when they're riding high (this year's been a good one for them so far, variety-wise).

I'll go pledge my support for Chicken Little, if people don't give this a chance, then I consider this world to be doomed and in it's last days. 8)

I love the look of the trailer. The stylization is great, and the story looks to be a lot of fun.

So far, I'm in full support of this.

Where did I say it was even directed at you?

In fact it was in reponse to Isidour saying "At least it's not a good movie".

Well, you did say some of you. Since only the two of us made comments I jumped to conclusions!

While I feel sorry for those of you who can't wait to see it, I personally don't care if Chicken Little is never released. In my opinion it looks horrible. I know you disagree, ichabod, and that's fine--I'm just contributing my two cents.

I want to be excited about chicken little, but it's just doesn't seem that interesting. I remember the last time I had this feeling was with brother bear, and after I watched it, I wished I hadn't.

I hope it's good,
~Danny

Welcome to the forums StickDan! And the trailer is terrible compared to the movie! I loved the movie! Highly recomened! But then again, since there are lots of movies that I love and many people dislike so I will not say more incase you deicde to see it because of me (Which I doubt that you will) and then hate it.
