In this thread you can talk about how u think or how u want harry potter going to end.
I think Harry is not going to die.... i dont think voldermort will die i thinks he is going to be peterefied like how hermione was in COS. I think that because harry is just as powerful as voldermort so i think that he cant kill him. Then you hear harry say but hes not talkin an he says thats how it ended. It shows him many years later sitting around with his grandkids.. they are about to go to Hogwarts. Hw will be married to Hermione and it ends with them going train station and thats it.
After The fight of Harry and Voldermort I kindof want a lord of the rings kindof ending.... because i think he will dissapear.. hes went throgh so much and his parents wanted him to live a happy life. But he will come back and see Ron and Hermione again. Like return of the king i want him to actually write his 7 years of hogwarts. What do you think will happen because i think theres alot of potter fans here.

I think both Harry and Voldemort will die killing each other, I won't say why but my reason is pretty concrete!

I can tell you the exact ending: "scar."
It's a joke, but it's a true joke. For those of you who don't get it, a long-circulated rumor (that has actually be confirmed)is that the last word of the seventh book is "scar." Wow, looks like Ms. Rowling is a fan of
The Lion King!

I think Harry Potter will die and Voldemort will too like Ichabod said. I guess J.K. is a Lion King fan!

This is probably what the last book should be like...
Harry Potter and the Glass of Aristotle
It's graduation day at Hogwarts and Harry, Ron and Hermoine are top of the class, passing with 100% marks in everything. To celebrate, they decide to drive down to Glasgow to go out on a bender. Unfortunately, Voldemort is following and plans to kill Harry. Harry and chums go into a bar themed to Ancient Greece. Voldemort follows and plans to carry out the murder, only he is tempted by the ouzo on the drinks menu. Voldy can't help himself and downs gallons of it, causing him to pass out on the floor. Voldemort, due to complications thanks to his alcoholic ways, chokes to death and dies.

What a great idea! However, I think Harry is actually supposed to kill Voldemort (or Voldy will kill Harry)--I'm not quite certain on the exact wording in the fifth book. Is it "die" or "kill"?

Just so this thread can be adult oriented and make chaychay uncomfortable. Harry and Hermoine consumate their relationship.
Cant wait for the unrated Criterion DVD.

Eww...
By the way, it's
uncomfortable, not discomfortable.

Sorry, I had to do that.

Now that's when Harry Potter uses his true magic wand!

Mr. Toad, no offense, but do you have a secret goal to chase me off all the threads? Remember the R-rated movies thread? You're like "go off and be a kid, and we'll talk about this later" and now you're bringing up that same topic here...

I'm not mad at you, just a little...eh...confused.

I am sorry, I have a dirty old mind. It was the first thing that popped into my head and I couldn't resist taking a good natured jab at you. No offence.

Here is the exact quoting
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches . . . born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies . . . and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not . . . and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives . . . the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies . . ." (Order of the Phoenix, page 841.)
I believe Harry and Voldemort will both die, as much as I dont want itto happen, it probably will 'cause JKR has been asked "Are you going to make any more Harry Potter books after Book 7" and her response was "What makes you think he's going to live past Book 7?"
SPOILER:
Im always routing for the "The prophecy is actually referring to Harry and Neville, not Harry and Voldemort" theory. It could be refering to neither Harry nor Neville can live while the other survives. That way only Neville will die
B/c in the 5th book we do find out thatall the clues not only pertain to harry, but also Neville

That's an interesting theory.
I don't know if I like it, though. I mean, Harry gets on my nerves after a while. Remember what Hermione said about him "playing the hero" in the fifth book? Plus, if Neville died it would be more surprising. I mean if Harry survives all seven books with Neville/Voldemort dying, it'd be so expected. That's what happens in all fairy tales: the hero survives, the villian dies.

True, I think Harry is still gonna die. Harry Potter is so different from all the other book series. It needs to stand out.

How is the last harry potter going to end?
Most likely with either a period or a question mark.
Or with millions of kids crying "NOOOOO! IT'S ALL OVER! I HAVE NOTHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN MY LIFE!"
