Okay, we have all these threads about best hero/heroine/villian, but who do you guys think is the worst hero/heroine/villian? I could divide this into three threads, but I don't want to take up space. So just list who you think is the worst of each and why you dislike them.
Worst Hero: Taran (The Black Cauldron). He just gives up his dream of being a warrior for no reason.
Worst Heroine: Snow White. I love the movie, but all she does is make friends with the dwarfs and then eats the apple. That's it.
Worst Villian: Edgar (Aristocats). His evil plot is to get rid of those cats and that's it. I know it's tradition for the good guys to win, but c'mon, he had to get rid of four cats. That's all. He's just not threatening when you have to watch him do that.

Worst Hero: Quasimodo: We get it. You're ugly. Stop depressing us.
Worst Heroine:Snow White, Cinderella, or Aurora: Take your pick. They're all simpering, passive little princesses.
Worst Villain:Ratcliffe: What self-respecting villain whines about a crick in the spine?
In my opinion, the three best in all three categories can be found in either The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, Mulan or Hercules.

It's a depressing story you know...
I have to disagree about Ratcliffe. He's just not your usual kill-the-main character-type villian, but he isn't bad at all in my opinion. He contributed to the event of the story a great deal.

A good villain needs a little bit of genuine menace to him. The character design just didn't work at all for me. With a few tweaks to personality and appearance, he could have been decent, though. I really only picked him because i thought all the other ones were better, and Edgar amused me for some reason.

I can see where you're coming from. I just always feel the need to protect his reputation as weak. He's just not as straight-foward as say, Ursula or Scar.

Shan-Yu was a guy. I've heard a lot of things said about him, but never this.

Worst Hero: I agree with
Quasimodo was not a good hero. He got heroic by disobeying people!
Worst Heroine:
Cinderella was heroine and a movie I just didn't like.
Worst Villian:Either Fife from Beauty and the Beast 2 or Zira from Lion King 2. Either villians are very weak.

Worst Hero - Milo Thatch. Eh...
Worst Heroine - Lilo. She is one of the only "heroines" that really piss me off. If not her, then it would be Jasmine.
Worst Villain - Pete. Pete's always been one of my most-hated characters. His design and voice are just too annoying.

Exactly. You people who don't like Quasimodo probably think Pheobus is the true hero of the story just because he looks like a Ken doll.

Talk about backwards thinking...Oh, yeah,
Worst Hero: Quasimodo He freaks me out.
Just kidding!

You call giving up your dreams in order to save the life of Gurgi, who sacrificed himself by throwing himself into the Cauldron in order to stop it's powers and save their lives, no reason?

Good point. Well he's too ugly to be a hero!

No, I just thought Quasimodo was not only ugly, but whiny and irritating as well. And Esmerelda is overrated. My favorite character was Frollo, which should tell you about how much I liked the movies as a whole!

I agree the heros were not likable. I was rooting for Frollo to win because he was the only good characters in the movie!.

For me, he was the perfect villain because I really hated him! I wanted him to die so bad! I didn't care about the heroes, but he was just such a horrible person that I wanted him to get his, and good. I don't think I've felt that way about any other Disney villain except maybe Gaston, but that was just because he was such a jerk.

Now that I think about it it's different here because Martin Luther King and Ghandi stood up for what they believed was right and wanted peace for everybody! Quasimodo disobeyed Frollo to go to a party! See the difference.

Worst Hero:
Jim Hawkins from
Treasure Planet (that's a shock coming from me, isn't it?

)
Worst Heroine:
Young Feline from
Bambi (I like the movie she's from, but her voice as a child is annoying)
Worst Villain:
The goons from
101 Dalmatians (again, I like the movie they're from, but they should have been replaced by ninja racoons!)

Man, this is embarrassing for me. See, I never actually saw the movie; I just read the review on the main site and it said he gave up for no reason. Ever since then I've had an opinion of him for that. Next time, I'll watch the movie before making an opinion.
