Hmm...that sounds interesting. I've seen three of those shorts, and two of them are classics. "Lend A Paw is one of the best shorts Disney ever made.

Disney is actually releasing The Small One to DVD? Wow! ^_^

I actually haven't ever seen that film. It's one of those obscure gems that I've never hunted down. Hopefully it'll have a semi-nice treatment on DVD - like a decent transfer, and such. :P

And I think I know a certain Greek sea nymph who will be very happy to hear this news!

I have most of these shorts on tape or other DVD's, and besides "The Small One", the only thing to lure me into buying these two would be really attractive, Christmassy cover art.

These were the only two I was actually interested in getting...not so sure anymore.

Just like the letter-writing campaign I started before I'd even dreamed about logging on to the internet or the early online petition I took part in to bring back The Black Cauldron?

...for the third time in Region 1.

1) 2001 - Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse (fullscreen, no opening or closing credits).
2) 2004 - Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 2 (16x9 widescreen, in full, with making-of featurette)

Hopefully this disc will reuse the Treasures transfer.

"The Clock Watcher" (1945) will be on this years Donald Treasure in December...

I am also hoping that "Toy Tinkers" will also be on there as well.. (if they stretch to show the shorts from 1949 !).. I really hope they don't duplicate the wartime cartoons on this treasure.

HOLY F'IN MONKEYS!! SMALL ONE IS BEING RELEASED TO DVD IN THE USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'Bout time! Now I won't have to finish that DVD petitions page I was making. :D I WILL have to do an update though to announce the good news.

And all this, even after an article in the Orlando Sentinal about Disney not releasing it to DVD a few years ago :D

You can read the article on my webpage for Small One http://www.small-one.tv

LMAO...Paka, Sunset...you guys know me TOO well. I hadn't even read your posts. I was too exicited when I saw the image of Small One on the main page to read anything but the announcement
