Ok, around 1996 or so, a new Mickey Mouse cartoon was animated and released as the opening cartoon (kinda like what PIXAR does now) before a Disney movie, but for the life of me I cant recall what it is called, or what it was about, although I seem to recall it having to do with Mickey disappearing or something like that. Does this ring any bells with anyone else??

Also, anyone know of the cartoon that opened before The Rescuers Down Under?

They're both on Disc 2 of the fab Mickey Mouse in Living Color Volume 2 Treasures set.
