Hi there everyone!
I'm just enquiring about a theme song that is used
in the movie The Parent Trap 2 the sequel this is where Hayley Mills is an adult and has her own kids in this movie (to the
original movie.) It's a ballad and sung by a woman
however, I am unsure of the title and artist of this
song. It's a nice tune so if anyone knows please e-mail me. Would you please be able to tell me the title
and artist of this song?
Thank you most kindly for your time and assistance. I
really appreciate your help.
Kind Regards,
Ellie.

Can't remember the artist, but some of the lyrics I can recall:
"Let's keep what we've got, let's not let it go"
and
"It's so beautiful it's love.....and let's not lose it again"

The song was:
Let's Keep What We've Got
written by charles fox and hal david, don't know who sang it though.
was published by Casa David/Wonderland Music Co., Inc.
Hopefully that helps you find it.

If you can find out who sings it that would be great. It's a pretty song hopefully, I can find the song on an mp3 or something.
Kind Regards,
Ellie.
Thanks for that.

Anyone know who sings the song "Let's Keep What We've Got" (and let's not let it go) it's played at the beginning of the movie?
I think that is the title of this song however, I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help me out with the song? It's such a pretty song too and nice words.
I'd be most appreciative if anyone can help me find the song or if anyone has got a copy of the song you can e-mail me:

Kind Regards,
Ellie.

I've merged your new thread with the older one. From Bill Cotter's terrific resource, I've learned the song is performed by Marilyn McCoo. From a bit of research, I've learned Ms. McCoo was one of the original members of The Fifth Dimension. That won't likely help you find the song, but there you go.

So is the song by Marilyn McCoo or the band you mentiond? Is the exact title Let's keep what we got?
I looked her name up however, I can't seem to find this particular song unfortunately, can anyone help me?
It be nice if someone can perhaps record it for me somehow (if possible) and send me the mp3 to my e-mail:
hoh28@hotmail.com that is if it can't be found anywhere as I assume it's one of those really rare songs.
Kind Regards,
Ellie.

The theme song for "Parnet Trap 2" was sung by Marilyn McCoo from the 5th Dimension. I have the movie on VHS tape.

Was that the band she was in? Is it possible to get this song on mp3 or cd?
I can't find it anywhere. What is the title exactly? If you know someone who can perhaps rip the sound (the song) from the movie that would be great since I take it that it's a rare song!

I have been looking for this song for years. I didin't think anyone had ever heard of it before. I forgot how my ultimatedisney friends would understand my plight in search of classic disney moments. I don't think that this song is available on any album or tape or CD. I wish Disney would release it somehow. Unfortunately that is completely unlikely (well at least we are getting the Parent Trap 2 on dvd....hopefully we can urge them to release The Parent Trap 3 and 4!!!). Anyway, once The Parent Trap 2 gets its DVD release, maybe someone can capture the audio in the beginning or the end when the credits roll on their computer and rip it as an audio mp3. I'm not completely computer savvy, but is it at all possible?
p.s. It's great to post again, I haven't had internet access for months and golly it feels swell to be back

I've always loved the song. I searched for it at one point as well and unfortunately I don't think it was ever released either by Disney or Marilyn McCoo. It's good to hear that so many others appreciate this pretty, wistful song too.

What is the exact title please? So is it by Marilyn Mccoo and the fifth dimension is that correct?
I'm really hoping that someone might have a copy of the dvd and can record the song for me onto their computer. Looks like that's the only way I can get the song. I wouldn't have a clue how to do it so if there are any experts out there in that department please help me you can e-mail me and let me know.
Hopefully someone out there can transfer the song someow by converting it into an audio mp3. It is possible to e-mail the mp3 to me if this can be done you can attach it as a file via e-mail.
Kind Regards,
Ellie.

I got to meet Hayley Mills yesterday and she didn't know that Disney was releasing this on DVD! She said that it wasn't one of her more famous/proud moments, but that more and more people talk with her about her Disney movies here in America and that she didn't know that they would have that big of an impact. I saw Hayley perform on stage in Kansas City with a Pre-Broadway production of "Two Can Play" written by Disney veteran screenwriter A.J. Carothers. It was pretty cool, but more stories to come later!!

Cool! While writing the review, I had done my research and checked to see what she was up to. Lucky you got to talk to her! Odd that she didn't know it was coming to DVD. She ought to bookmark this site.

WOW!! That be so cool! I'd love to meet her I love all her movies. So, what's she like? Is she a nice person?
Just with regards to the song any help would be very much appreciated and you can e-mail me if you can make me a copy or know where I can get the song from.
It's sung by Marilyn Mccoo and the fifth dimension however, not sure on the exact title of the song but a lovely song for anyone whose seen the movie would know what I'm talking about.
Kind Regards,
Ellie.

She was extremely nice. She talked about how she loved the midwest!! She enjoys going to sleep at night under a big sky and mentioned how people are so nice here. She told me that the other day she was shopping at the HenHouse (a local grocery store chain) and just as she was about to swipe her credit card, anothe woman swiped a card in front of her.
"What are you doing?" Hayley said.
"Giving you my Henhouse discount card," replied the other woman.
"Bless her heart," Hayley said, "She saved me $1.50!"
Now, I can't imagine Ms. Mills shopping at a Henhouse, but could you imagine running in to her at the grocery store?

Imagine running into two of her at a grocery store, like Florence did in The Parent Trap II!
Thanks for sharing your interesting story of meeting her, disneyfella! Nice to see you posting again, too.

If you can kindly recommend or refer me to someone who might be able to help me I'd really appreciate it.
What is the title of the song please?
I really am determined to find this song so any help would be very, very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Ellie.
PS. Thanks for sharing that with me so she likes the US better than the U.K. is that what she meant?
I'm from Australia myself so hopefully she'll like it here. What's your fav Mills movie?
