NO! All of these rumors are misunderstandings! People are so sick sometimes. Those people need to grow up since it's not like kids (or millions of adults) are going to pick that up!

This site should help clear up anything you may have heard about Disney urban legends:

I think Alan is referring to him now as the late Walt Disney, not as if back then he was called by this.
Alan, are you talking about "inappropriate messages" that people "think" are hidden throughout every movie, or just kinda "hidden mickey" things?

The most interesting thing about people claming that there are hidden messages is that they say that "I have heard", "someone has seen" or things like this.
If somebody realy saw a block of ice that looked like Walt then prove it with a video capture.
It is realy easy to do for those that are correct in their accusations but not so fun for those that can't prove stupid lies.
Don't belive any of those stories before the people that tell them can show you or prove it for you so you can see it for yourself.

The UD Forum´s very own 2099net once posted that a long deleted review on Amazon once claimed that
Alice in Wonderland, Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Dumbo and
Peter Pan were trying to convince kids to be gay.

I one time heard that Alice In Wonderland was unappropeater for kids because it had "drug" refrences.

Most these stories had some type of man/woman connection, so where exactly does the gay convincing thing come in?

I could actually see that, but only if I way overexamine the movie plots.
Alice In Wonderland - "In a World of Her Own" could mean in a world without homophobia.
Mulan - Mulan seeking acceptance over something that society doesn't deem is right.
The Little Mermaid - Ariel fighting with her father because he doesn't agree with the way she is.
Peter Pan - Boy in tights...think about it.
Don't quite get the Dumbo thing though. Is the trunk supposed to be some kind of phallic symbol now? I wouldn't be a bit surprised if someone out there thought so.

I know the book was written with the use of drugs. But Disney would not make a movie about the adventures of some little girl on drugs. That's why they changed it to just a dream of hers.

Umm, no, Alice in Wonderland was not written under the influence of drugs, and Disney didn't change anything. Alice's adventures were just a dream in the book, just like the film. The book is filled with symbolism, but it isn't drug use. The symbolism is stuff that friends of Carroll's would recognize such as in-jokes. As for the hookah-smoking caterpillar, hookahs were very common in households at that time and were basically tobacco pipes only with water containers attached to cool the smoke; no drug substances involved. Where do you get the notion that Alice was hallucinating? In her dream she saw bizarre things. So did Dorothy when she went to Oz. So did Wendy when she went to Neverland. So did Lucy when she went to Narnia. Are all of these girls on drugs? As for the size-changing, it's a fantasy. If you can accept talking animals, flying people, and magic spells, then I don't see how size-changing needs to be any different and associated with drug use. Saying Alice in Wonderland is about drugs is like saying Harry Potter is about Wicca. Both are ignorant statements.
