The Behind-the-Scenes set hasn't sold out and not many people have bought it in comparison to Mickey and Goofy. Why is this? This was a great set, very informational. Possibly the best set from Wave 2. Goofy was funny and Mickey is historically important, but this set had so much cool stuff on it.

I agree of the three wave 2 sets this one i have watched ALOT of. I remember watching some of these Disneyland shows on late night Disney channel and to have them to watch when i want especially The Reluctant Dragon well i cant see watch them enough. The other two are great but this one blew them both away.

First wave is similar the Disneyland USA i have watched more also.

Hint Hint Disney (More Disneyland episodes) There is alot of material out there.

I was thinking about this recently, and I believe it's because the majority of "Disney" fans are actually fans of certain characters, or certain movies, not fans of Disney the Institution.

Or maybe it's just the gay dragon.

I am in no way a fan of the current Disney Institution/Corporation/whatever, but I'm a huge fan of Walt Disney and his animation studio. That's why I enjoy very much seeing what the studio looked like in its early years and how the early animated features were made.
I understand, however, that the behind the scenes material is less interesting to most people.
BTW, I was watching The Reluctant Dragon just a few days a go, and thought to myself that the dragon seemed gay.

Some of my family members pointed out that the Dragon's toenails are even painted red!

Absolutely, the two Studio/Park discs are the best of the Treasures so far. I love the paint mixing sequence of The Reluctant Dragon, it's simply stunning. I have never seen such vibrant gorgeous colours on my screen.

And let's not forget the long eye lashes on the dragon too.

I agree that the Behind the Scenes and the Disneyland USA are the best of all the sets but seem under-rated its sad but i do watch them more than the others. Any future sets dealing with the Disneyland TV series will be definitely welcome in my collection the more the better.

I still enjoy watching the others and look forward to the next wave whatever they may be.

The only Treasures I'm interested in buying is the Davy Crockett, Disneyland, and Behind the Scenes releases - because its the only Treasures sets I KNOW I'm going to want to re-watch.

The cartoons are great, and were definately milestones in animation history (and fully deserve being in just a prestigious set), but they just aren't anything I'll have a hankering to re-watch frequently. And for the hefty price, plus the fact that there's so many other DVDs I want, I decided to pass up on the cartoon sets.

Davy Crockett is the only Treasures title I didn't buy. There are so many other Disney live action films I don't have yet that are more interesting to me... And I didn't feel the need to get it just to have te whole set.

I to held off on getting the Davy Crock Tin because it was not one that I thought that I would ever watch. But then I found it at Costco last summer for $14 and figured it was worth getting at that price and it is truly one of my favorite DVD's. I had never watched any of the episodes before but I was hooked after the first episode. So I would reccomend this set to anyone but then again that is just me.

$14? Wow, I have not been to Costco in a while, I need to go there and hunt some bargains out! $14!

I too bought all of the Treasure Sets except for Davy Crockett. I bought a copy for my mom for a gift. I watched the Reluctant Dragon a few times and I find myself watching the Goofy set every now and then.
