At 7 PM CST as a part of Wonderful World of Disney.
I can't wait. I haven't seen this movie in years.

You could go ahead and buy the DVD.
Anyone else find it extremely odd how Disney keeps airing the Platinum films on TV shortly after their DVD releases? They've done this with Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, and instead of airing Lion King in 2003, they aired Sleeping Beauty. Now they're airing Bambi. Do they think these showings will boost up DVD sales or something? It's not that I'm complaining, really. It's about time Disney classics were shown on TV again, but the timing of these is rather bizarre.

It's all to boost up DVD sales.

Smart thinking Disney, smart thinking.

Man, just buy Bambi on DVD why would you want to sit down and watch commercials...

No because Luke reads other people's posts before he contributes...

That's what happened with me when I watched Mulan on TV. I coudn't get into with all those commercials and I ended up renting it so I could watch it without commercials.

What I would love to see is every PE title going to theatres and then get the PE treatment on DVD like have Bambi in theatres in March and in October put it on DVD the same time Cinderella is going into theatres.
I really want to see some of their classics in theatres again. I believe the last one I saw was Pinocchio back in 1992!
Then after that put it on TV so they could possibly get even more DVD sales.

I think the older people are the more they appreciate it. I know that
Bambi was one of my least favorite movies growing up. I thought that a lack of dialogue and the romance between Bambi and Faline was boring. When I checked it out from my library a few weeks ago, however, I learned that I love that movie.

I know I appreciate it so much more now than I used to now that I'm a little older but I have always loved the movie. The same could be said about me and any Disney movie though... I appreciate them a lot more now and I seem to be more entertained now for the most part. Sequels (even if they are decent) has sort of dulled the experience of The Lion King and Aladdin.

You're never too old for Bambi or animation. I'm 44 and I love Bambi. Heck I love the Winnie The Pooh movies.
