Im excited for this movie.. it looks funny lol

I really ain't getting the funniness of this... I'll still see it. I trust Disney also placed a story somewhere in between the [poor, washed and old] jokes.

Well, what can I say? I'm certainly not too enthused to see this... O_o It seems like the more I see of this film, the more my interest in it plateaus. I have yet to determine whether I'll support it monetarily - or buy a ticket to something more deserving and creep into the CL theatre anyway.

How many people will get that Hitchhiker reference in that first teaser, I wonder? That just struck me as somewhat lame... the demographics are too different for that parody to really be effective. Eh.

And I almost snorted my ice water when I saw CL's little "number" at the end of the trailer. Heh... I wasn't particularly amused at the dance, but at the motive behind putting something so stupid in the trailer to garner attention in the first place. Seems like Disney's applying vaudevillian philosophy to this troubled film... "When you're in trouble, go into your dance!"

Well it played in theaters before <i>Hitchhiker's</i>, and its opening is more or less identical to the <i>Hitchhiker's</i> teaser, so probably more people in theaters seeing that film (which there should be more of, anyway) would be getting it than people simply wanting to see "the new <i>Chicken Little</i> trailer." If <i>Hitchhiker's</i> were a bigger hit, more people would get it too, but it'd be impossible not to see what it was a parody of if you've seen the other teaser. I've made no sense whatsoever in this post, have I?

I've decided I will see this. OMG, that little dance number he did at the end of the trailer was hilarious!

I found the CL trailers Funny! I probably might see it in the theatres...but of course, a DVD purchase can't be bad.

Eh, I guess some people are more easily amused than others.

Sorry, I'm just hard to impress. Always have been. I'm perfectly willing to acknowledge a genuine work of art, or a real piece of entertainment, when I do see it, but I just have a nagging feeling about this film. It doesn't pique my interest.

Even if Chicken Little winds up being only mediocre, that's still a shame. Knowing what Disney is capable of - and regarding their legacy and the philosophy of their founder - a mediocre Disney film is as bad as any other half-baked film project out there.

Well i'm dispointed about the trailer which i find is bad cut, it doesn't give the envy to see more, the humor is quite poor (i hope they kept the best ones fro the movie... )... But i still want to see this, the characters design are interesting, especially Fish in the Water who's my favorite.

OK, I absolutely burst out laughing during the dancing! Normally I hate that kind of crap in animation, but here are the reasons why I laughed!

1) It was just the bizareeness of a Chicken doing it, also the sincerity on his face just made it really funny for some reason.

2) The other reason I laughed was really just with happiness. Forget the crappy dance moves, just study the body movements! HOW FLUID AND REALISTIC DO THOSE MOVES LOOK! I am really amazed at the quality of the CGI in full movement! I have always been kind of annoyed by the jerkiness of CGI, (even the Incredibles and Monsters Inc) but the quality just made me want to cry! If Rapunzel has humans that move as fluid and convincingly I may actually die of joy!

Also look at CL's feathers! I soooooooooooooooo badly want to see this film! The CGI looks soft and warm and fluffy! NOt plasticy at all! I pray the entire film is of this quality! If it is...

The following statement may upset a few people here but I don't give a toss!

Those trailers don't exactly fill me with optimism. The animation is great, sure, but the story seems kind of weak to me. I'll see it, of course, and I really hope it's better than I think it will be.

I'm on the opposite side. Story looks solid for the first time since Lilo and Stitch. The animation on the other hand, well let's just say I've seen college student films that looked better. Miles and MILES behind Pixar, but certainly ahead of Dreamworks. And before anyone attacks me, I find the animation to be better-looking than Dreamworks for the simple fact that these characters move, act and bounce all over the screen, whereas CG DW characters are so unbelievably stiff. Just look at the human characters in Shrek 2, do they move? have they evovled since the first film? I can't tell. I'll sure give Disney that. I's weak, but considering that it's their first in house CGI production I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

The jokes.. well some were miss, some hit. The Turkey finding a penny in the middle of chaos was very ENG-ish. very funny. And Chicken Little telling the Ugly Ducking: "I've always been extremely attracted to you" was funny as well. I think it will be good. The people who have seen it all say it's real cute and funny. I'm just gonna assume the trailers aren't entirely doing it justice. However, of all the trailers released so far, this has been the best one.

Thanks for the trailers. This movie looks like it should be very good! Very good animation, funny what else can you ask for.

Dinosaur is CGI with live action backgrounds So not full CGI, and not made by Walt Disney Feature Animation.

The characters were, but the backgrounds were mostly real live action footage manipulated/enhanced with computers.

Yep, but not fully animated in CG. Some of it is constructed of real pictures.

I think they used this style on purpose... All directors of the upcoming Disney CGI movies (including Chris Sanders and Glen Keane) are saying that Disney is actually very far in the development of different effects and everything CGI. I remember reading that Pixar had to research and test a lot to get the fur of Sully in Monsters Inc. right and that Disney immediatly had that same effect... Probably because they have way more money too

Anyway, I think they really cut down on the more realistic stuff to bring out the very strange looking style they used for the movie... I think they will amaze us with Rapunzel (and maybe even with A day with Wilbur Robinson).
