June Disney releases-anyone excited?

Well, June sees one Disney movie, and another movie distributed by Disney, Herbie Fully Loaded and Howl's Moving Castle.
I say both look REAL good. I've been slowly growing on Howl's, as I've been watching the trailer here and there. It looks like a beautifully detailed movie with an engaging story, and Disney did a good job dubbing.
I think I'll go see this, or at least buy it on DVD for sure.
As for Herbie Fully Loaded, I'm excited. Next to PotC, Herbie boasts one of the coolest casts I've seen from a Disney live action film. It looks funny, too. I'm falling in love with Lindsay Lohan simply because of this movie lol.
And considering the North American box office has been suffering for the 12th straight week of financial duds and poor offerings (it was even in the news) I'm hoping these two movies find their audience and do well.
Opinions, thoughts?

Herbie looks like it'll be a fun and harmless two hours at the theatre.

Did they really need another Herbie movie?
Linsay Lohan tends to ruin every single classic disney movie.[/i]

How do you figure? By most regards, The Parent Trap remake is a lot of fun and not a bad movie at all. I didn't think so much of Freaky Friday, but many others did. And even if you weren't a big fan of them, how did they ruin the originals, which I'd agree are classics?
No, they didn't need another Herbie movie, and this one doesn't look especially promising. But I think Lohan's fared far better in making use of past films (see the not very good Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen for an alternative), and the studio has too benefited in recent years from past films and long-standing theme park attractions more so than coming up with original live action films (of which I can only think of the entertaining but not-very-Disney-like National Treasure as a success and some of their 'real life sports dramas' too.)

I'm hoping to see Howl's Moving Castle as soon as possible since I love Miyazaki films. But that Herbie movie...what a BAAAAD idea! I would never waste my money to that kind of rubbish (I mean the remake). I'm sure the movie will be dull and the makers didn't find anything significant or new to that movie. It's just about a car that lives. Blaah...

I don't think anyone asked for your lists, Pals. We're talking about Howl's Moving Castle and Herbie: Fully Loaded in this thread, not making lists of things we plan to see or buy. There are plenty of other places to post lists; this is General Discussion. Thanks!

Who knows right? Herbie might make a lot of money. It is Lohan..

And she's not as skinny and scary-looking in the upcoming movie!
So she still looks normal & nice. I admit after seeing the trailer in Hitchiker, it did look interesting!

Exactly. I'm the same way. I've never bothered to watch the Herbie films because they didn't look interesting, however, this milleinial remake makes me want to be a Herbie fan.
Well, fall out of it man!
LOL I simply can't.

Poor Lindsay...><
