Brave Little Toaster Specs

They had the DVD early at Suncoast and got the official listing of specs off the back:
- The Making of The Brave Little Toaster
- Fullscreen Transfer
- Dobly Digital 5.1 Surround
- English & French Language Tracks
I looked for the sequels as well, but they didn't have them.

Did it have a "This film has been modified from it's original version, and has been formatted to fit your screen" at the bottom of the case?

Fullscreen doesn't necessarily mean P & S, it just means it is not 16:9.
The local Herbie releases here had fullscreen listed on them, but did have (with one exception) widescreen ratios. Only Love Bug was 16:9.
So there is hope. Has anyone put it in their player yet? What was the OAR?

Here, the only time Fullscreen means non-anamorphic widescreen is when Disney botches packaging like Jungle 2 Jungle and That Darn Cat.
As I said in the other thread, the sequels were direct-to-video all the way, so Fullscreen is right. Brave Little Toaster made the festival circuit, so it was probably displayed in widescreen, but its first showing was on the Disney Channel, and it might very well have been animated for 1.33:1 all along. I don't know.

I would guess that the Brave Little Toaster was animated for full screen. As I understand it, the makers didn't have any backing for a theatrical release even when the film was completed for some time (it was only after seeing the film at a festival that Disney agreed to distribute it).
Therefore, even before making it, they probably realised it could be a DTV production (or at least earn most of it's money from TV/home video) and this composed and animated for 4:3
The film is not owned and/or distributed by Disney in the UK and has had a DVD release for a while - in 4:3 format.
You can pick it up now for £4.99 in the UK - note the UK release has no supplements.
