Wasn't the Heroes and Heroines countdown supposed to start, like, a month ago? That idea hasn't been nixed, has it, Luke? Have people not written enough comments? I love reading the countdowns, so I was kinda looking forward to it.

Partly due to the most slanted results for a countdown, partly due to a strong lack of comment contribution, and partly due to me not having the time to do this or noticing an interest from people in the results, it's been delayed a bit. Hoping to start it next week, but I don't think it will be as elaborate as the Villains Countdown results, unless someone wants to help out. The results have been tallied, it's just a matter of making them a bit more interesting than that and putting thoughts and the few comments that were submitted into it. This might the last countdown for a while.

Oh, okay. I would have voted but I haven't seen all that many Disney movies, so I probably wouldn't have picked the best heroes/heroines. I just like seeing what everyone else thinks.

Luke,if you wanted someone to help you out, then I would be more than happy to. That's only if you wanted me to. I tend to think that you want more experienced members to help you out with this type of thing, though. Why, oh, why didn't I join earlier?!

James, a way you can help is by sending some comments in to Luke on why you like some of the heroes and heroines. If you look at some of the various countdowns, you'll understand the kind of comments what to write. I assume that the results will mainly be characters from animated classics and Pixar films, so remember that. All you need to do is e-mail Luke at
countdown@ultimatedisney.com. Mention how you'd like to be credited (either your real name or the safer forum name) and you'll be fine.

I haven't wanted to bug you, Luke, but speaking for myself at least, I'm eagerly awaiting them. Don't worry- there's a lot of interest here!
I sent in comments, but if you need any more help just let me know!

I'll make a special effort to get this done by Monday. Maybe 5 heroes and 5 heroines a day? And by the end of the week, it'd be done. Sound good?

Sounds great. No rush, as long as it eventually gets done.

That sounds good, Luke. Don't rush yourself, though. We're very excited for it, but we can wait if you need more time.
In the meantime, everyone send in comments... come on! Take a little time, especially for the ones that might not otherwise have had a lot written about them by now. We want more countdowns, don't we?

I would send in comments, but the only ones that probably need comments now are the ones from the less popular films, which I haven't seen many of. Plus, I'm terrible at thinking of insightful or witty things to say. I wouldn't be able to think of anything better than, "Uh, she's cool and pretty."

I'm excited for this too. I really enjoyed reading the comments on all the villians.
I'll try doing comments for some of the heroines/heroes

Take your time, Luke
Remember that good stuff need time, so let´s make this the best countdown

Please take your time, Luke!
This is the first countdown I've been through. I'll try to get some reviews/comments and sent to you.
I'm looking forward to it. I just wish more participants would have considered live action characters, too. Animation-heavy ratings for an "open" character countdown doesn't seem fair.

Luke,
I'm looking forward to this countdown. I can't wait to compare the heroines to my Survivor results (Mulan won that game...I think the entire universe heard that!

).
I'm sorry that I couldn't help you with it-I wasn't here when people submitted names and comments. I'd probably be really bad at writing comments. I'd probably write something like: "I've always loved Ariel. I don't know why, maybe it's because she has red hair." Which is a really dumb comment.

I want to send in a few comments, It's just that I haven't had much time on my hands....I've been really busy with school! I'll try to come up with some though fairly soon!
